Although it makes sense, the middle supports were a problem for my vision of rug placement partway under the bed. It was more of a struggle than anticipated, so be aware that they exist on the sides and center. The black parts are also quite bold! If your space is small or dark or light or whatever, just know that the bed will be bold and in your face about it. For me, it's working with my aesthetic, and I got a matching shelf. For others it can really take away from your design or push you toward farmhouse from industrial if you are toeing the line. Choose wisely and happy decorating! It’sa nice and solid frame. Kinda heavy since it’s wood and metal, but not ridiculous. About 75lbs. There were some issues at the end while assembling where the holes of the cross bars weren’t lining up easily. It took two of us squeezing the frame while a third put in the final screws. I was skeptical about buying a product like this for so cheap, but I gave it a shot. It was surprisingly much heavier in the package than I anticipated ( a happy surprise though😁). It takes longer than an hour to put together by yourself, but it's not difficult at all. The Allen wrench/key they send is junk though, it strips out before you are done, so I switched to my personal set. Once assembled I put my mattress on it without the box spring, and it is surprisingly sturdy considering my mattress is old and thin (trying to find a good replacement currently), I did not need my box spring anymore nor did I need a sheet of plywood like some suggest. I am only giving it a 4 star review for the simple fact that the way it is painted the paint is very thin and one small drop chipped the paint to the metal. It is very brittle and thinly coated. Also note that I sleep alone, so I cannot say how the sturdiness is for an active couple. It is a lot of screws though, definitely keep the instructions and the packaging for the screws in case it needs to be disassembled to move or something similar. Other than that it matched the decor of my bedroom and looks fantastic! I would definitely recommend for the price! ... show more

I looked for three hours on Amazon to find the best option for bed frames and this was completely worth the price. I was worried about it looking cheap since it was on the low end price-wise compared to other bed frames but this is not at all cheap material. In total it took about an hour for my husband to put it together, but I would definitely recommend using your drill with socket adapters if you want to save your arm muscles lol. 10/10 very satisfied! ... show more

Went together in about 1 1/2 hours but no issues. All hardware was clearly marked and followed instructions for a seamless build. Might be quicker with a helper! Overall highly recommend this style as the higher headboard makes it appear more substantial. My son bought a different frame from the same seller which is very sturdy as well but it looks so tiny in the room. ... show more

The bed is incredibly sturdy and looks so nice in our room! There is zero noise that comes from it. It did take a long time to put together but using our own tools made it go a lot quicker. The seller is also fantastic, the wood on the headboard came slightly damaged and I reached out for a solution and they emailed me back very quickly and offered me two very reasonable solutions. It took me about 2 1/2 hours alone to put this bed together. At one point I was missing the two #11 slats which I was about to panic and get mad about. Then I realized I had two extra #8 slats that were actually #11 slats. Whew! That’s worth a star being knocked off. I didn’t have the stripped screw issue many discussed.
