If you hate assembling furniture, this is not for you. But if you enjoy bolting things together, it's a fun project. Every bolt, nut and washer is clearly identified and sealed in a compartmentalized bubble pack. The instructions were a little sketchy and I would have used a larger typeface to help out old farts like me. But it all went together beautifully. (I skipped the supplied tools -- one small wrench and an Allen wrench -- and used my own tools.) The bed is incredibly sturdy. The frame is all steel. And I'm assuming, indestructible, once fully assembled and everything is tightened down. There is roughly 12 inches of height underneath the bed, offering loads of storage space. And paired with the ZINUS 12 Inch Ultra Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress, my girlfriend and I couldn't be more pleased. Except for the center support legs on each side. The legs not only prevent the sides from sagging, they each are used to connect two pieces of the frame. Maybe it's just me, but I've managed to stub my toes on these things a few times while making the bed. And I slammed my heel against it while getting out of bed this morning. I dunno...maybe it's me. I've never owned a bed that was supported in the center like this. My feet aren't expecting a steel pipe to be right there. It's roughly 1/2" iron pipe. A quick trip to Lowes for some foam pipe wrap has hopefully solved the problem, and does not seem to have affected the overall aesthetics of the bed. (See photo.) I give it five stars. It has contemporary good looks, it's built like a beast, and it wasn't missing a single bolt, nut or washer. Just watch your toes or that center support will getcha!

Very happy with this product. Very sturdy and looks great. The only thing that I would suggest is to put a dab of LocTite on the screws when installing. No squeaks or wobble. Great Product.

This has to be the best bed frame I have owned. I built it by myself and it was very easy with very clear instructions. It is very sturdy too. It also came in the mail 3 days early! Definitely worth the purchase!

Bought this bed to replace my 27-year-old bed/mattress so I knew ANY bed would be better. All in all this bed is amazing! I would have given this a 5-star rating if not for the tools that it came with. I’ve read reviews that it took people hours to assemble this bed. It took me an hour and 10min! I bought a queen size bed and luckily there were 3 of us assembling it. I laid everything out numerically, because all the parts are labeled, and left the screws and nails in it’s packaging, and only took them out as I needed them, to avoid confusion. Between the 3 of us, we were able to assemble this bed in a little over an hour. Very easy to follow instructions (pictures only) and luckily we had very good quality tools. The tools that it came with stripped after a while. I think if one relied on using the tools that came with the product, it will definitely take several hours because you have to be extremely gentle and slow to avoid them stripping. I know I was very gentle but it still stripped anyway and that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars. But this bed is great!!! I love it!! partnered with a new mattress that I bought, this bed is very quiet and sturdy. I would buy this bed again without hesitation.

Well designed and manufactured. Sturdy and has nice weight to it, feeling nice and stable. Planted feeling is good when you don't have additional weight of running box springs. Plan on 90+ minutes to put tougher after gather necessary tools and developing a plan of attack. Give yourself plenty of room to sort and section all the contents of the box= nuts, bolts, screws, frame cross members, brackets, etc. Take time, assemble mostly and tight until comes together , then go back and tighten securely, being careful not to strip out the hardware because you only get one example of each as replacement.

We've had this bed frame for almost a month now and I am very happy. It doesn't make noise when getting in, out or turning over. Support is great. We didnt have money to get a new matress yet but I think with this new frame we might be able to get another couple years out of it and its not as badly worn as I thought. This bed really wasn't what I wanted but my husband went behind my back and bought black dressers so I needed something to match. And this really looks good against the black dressers. It was easy to put together also. Overall, I'm very pleased
