Expensive but likely worth it
Title says it all really, these are very heavy, very solid and are the most realistic I have seen. They are shaped and so not contoured with the realistic surface all the way around, this limits you somewhat (intentionally) to the layout and placement, I would have preferred a little more flexibility on this, but understand that is intended to allow best flame effect/visibility. Once heated, they will put out a fair bit of heat, more than I expected which is a nice bonus, logs directly in contact with flame will glow red hot in certain places. I would expect these to last indefinitely, and so based on that give them highest rating despite the high cost. ... show more

No more smoky room!
Our fireplace has a design defect, so every time we burned wood it would smoke. This is a perfect solution! Most people think they are real oak logs. In my opinion the split oak is the most realistic. The burn kit we bought really puts heat out as well! It smelled funky the first time we used it, but only then. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! ... show more

color in not exactly as you see it in the pictire
Size: 18-Inch Color: Split Oak Designer Plus (Logs Only)
A little disappointed in the color but the quality is very good. Logs can be moved around to achieve a desired arrangement.

GIVES OFF A TERRIBLE ODOR EVEN AFTER HOURS OF BURNING
Size: 24-Inch Color: Split Oak Dp + G4 Ng-burner (Match Lit)
WARNING---Do not order! The logs give off a terrible odor that fills the house and the seller will not take it back. He will blame your chimney and ventilation even when you have a chimney specialist out to check things out and they tell you it's the logs and not the ventilation. I SHOULD HAVE READ ALL THE REVIEWS. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD THIS ISSUE. ... show more
