Bed arrived quickly. It was a heavy package so I had to open in garage and make several trips up the stairs with the parts. Directions were typical for this type of furniture--diagrams and a lot of bolts. Tools for assembly were included. It took about 2 hours to put together alone (I am pretty good at these types of assembly). Bed is very attractive and sturdy. No squeaks even though it is all metal. No box spring required. I expected this bed to be crappy to be honest but no! Great price and the quality exceeded my expectations. I was nervous about assembly but it was fairly easy. Mattress fits very snug and so far the bed still stands!! If you want something cute and priced right, this bed is a great option.

instructions were easy to follow, only thing is the metal slats that go across the frame are not exactly all the same length.. made it a little difficult to get put together & had to do some rearranging compared to what the directions said. A friend and I assembled this frame (queen size) in about an hour. Instructions were straight-forward, and all pieces numbered. We ended up with 2 extra screws somehow, but the frame seems very sturdy and well-made. It also comes with a couple of stick-on corner protectors for the foot of the bed so you don't scratch yourself on the corner in the middle of the night.
