It did take some time and paying attention to instructions and details, BUT it is much nicer and better quality than expected. Everything lined up without much effort. It doesn't look or feel cheap. It's not low quality and it seems pretty sturdy. I think great bang for your buck!

Well after needing a bed quickly I decided to get my mattress and frame from Amazon. This said it needs no box spring but I am very petite smaller person if a heavy weight adult sleeps in this I would see the need for a box spring so keep that in mind. Directions weren't difficult if you follow step by step. Once we got the headboard assembled it went rather quickly. I would say average person maybe 2 hours to assemble. I love the charging station and outlets. I do alot of reading and crocheting at night and this allows me to add a bright light above me without disturbing others. The quality of the head board and platform part I am impressed with. The baskets seem to be ok but I haven't put anything in them yet. I think they could be a little more weight to the metal baskets toake this even better quality but for the money it was a good buy and I wanted to upgrade and modernize my bed. Definitely would buy again if needed. ... show more

I love this bedframe. At the top of the head board is a shelf, for lack of better description, which allows my son to keep his ph and glasses. The bed frame is sturdy and looks great. My son is 13 now and it just elevated his decor . The drawers under the bed come with a plastic material cover to keep things from going thru the wired basket. My only complaint is the drawers are a little flimsy but no problems with them. Bed is holding up great,using it for 2 months now. It’s a short bed since there’s no box spring, not an issue for me but some people don’t like that

Definitely a setup job for those not low on patience. But tedious assembly work aside…. This bed rocks! The plugs and USB ports make bed side tables a thing of the past. It’s sturdy even if you’re not the most handy person. And the side drawers are a great plus for storage. There is an updated version where the drawers are at the foot of the bed; which could alleviate potential location woes. Would totally buy again. ... show more

It was easy to put together, but very light and flimsy feeling. Drawers are just racks that are placed under bed. No drawer gliders, not attached to bed - so they are constantly moving and coming out from under the bed if you brush it with your foot. Worst part is that slats (mattress support) started falling apart this week, and we have had the bed for less than 6 months. ... show more
