Sound is decent for with a couple of exceptions. First, I haven't been able to disable spacious audio which isn't a biggie for background music. Second is quite a bit more annoying. I have the bass turned down quite a bit, and there are still certain frequencies that cause a noticeable rattle. We''re never played it above volume level 4, so it certainly hasn't been abused. Other than that it's been a decent purchase.

If I had to hear Alexa apologize one more time for being unable to do the basic things it's advertised to do, I was going to scream. Do not purchase if you want it to run your smart bulbs reliably, run your blink doorbell reliably, run your tv at all (any model...and if you're stubborn like me, Google will work with you for hours and come to the conclusion that newer TVs have a sleep mode that Alexa cannot wake up. After you've reset everything in your home and had to set everything back up and Alexa blamed it on your TV. Which I suppose is true if you own an actual TV), run your thermostat (unless you have a nest), link at all to any security cameras that aren't associated with Amazon, etc. Basically it's an annoying apologizing brick.
