If I were to give a summary: Yes, for most users this is a very good choice if you want a mid-sized smart display that does a lot well (screen, sound, calls, Alexa integration) and you don’t expect it to be a super high-end entertainment system. If it’s a great fit for you: • You’ll place it in a kitchen/bedroom/living space where 8″ is a comfortable size. • You want Alexa voice + display + smart-home control. • You don’t need ultra-premium audio/video fidelity. If you might look elsewhere: • You care about minimal on-screen ads or clutter. • You want full tablet-like UI or fastest touch responsiveness. • You have a lot of Zigbee smart-home devices and want an all-in-one hub. • You want highest audio performance for music / home theatre.

Sound is decent for with a couple of exceptions. First, I haven't been able to disable spacious audio which isn't a biggie for background music. Second is quite a bit more annoying. I have the bass turned down quite a bit, and there are still certain frequencies that cause a noticeable rattle. We''re never played it above volume level 4, so it certainly hasn't been abused. Other than that it's been a decent purchase.

I absolutely love the Alexa Echo! Easy to hook up. Nice sound. Answers all questions in just about any subject in a very short time frame. Easy to connect to the internet; brightness and sound are adjustable. I even watch Prime shows and movies in it.

This Show replaces our Echo Dot, which we moved to another location. The Show has high-quality sound, at least to our ears, and we love having it show us a collection of our favorite personal photos while we listen to Amazon Music or our local NPR station.

It is hard to review this product. But first I can tell you that I have a Black Echo but the cord is white. Why? Alexa now has a new program Alexa Plus. This doesn’t work well all the time or even things that work don’t always work well. And once you change to Alexa plus then all your echos are changed. I no longer can easily do anything. And I can’t even figure out how to get my photos to easily show all the time. Alexa has new voices even if you like tho old voices. So is there a group?
