It's surprising that some people said the light is not bright enough. This light is BRIGHT, and it is a hard white light. The square box at the back of the light is exactly the size shown in the details (4,72" square), and your junction box needs to be flush with the face of to sheetrock. I'm not an electrician, but I've never mounted a light that I didn't need to to have some sort of modifications. For all those electricians out there who complained about it you either need to go back to school or get another profession. I have this mounted in a stairwell, and as someone mentioned its really hard to find a light that doesn't show bulbs, electronics, etc. when you look either up or down at it. It's a keeper for me, and I'm hopefully going to find a dimmer that will work with it, at least 3/4 brightness. ... show more

Easy to install, dimmable, reasonably bright (I would say it is about 60W equivalent), soft white. Four stars for the installation, as I placed it horizontally under the ceiling, and it required a short screwdriver for an upper screw.

As listed quantity as two but only one shipped. Contacted Amazon and they said that they would ship out the missing two but they only shipped one. I figured because the ad listed two and only one ships. The light it self is nice and works as it says but it would be nice to get what you pay for.
