This lightbulb camera is great for those who want to install one with minimal effort. It screws into any standard E40 light lightbulb socket. If using a flood lamp socket you may need to purchase a small extension to clear any socket obstruction. They sell those extensions very cheaply on Amazon. The camera app lets you pan 360 degrees and up and down so you have a pretty good view of the entire surroundings. The camera will also track moving objects. The tracking is not the best but pretty sure with firmware updates the tracking will improve. You can also improve tracking if you select human tracking only. You get 3 days of event recording in the cloud for free. If you decide you want more days then you will need a subscription. You can also add a 128 GB micro SD card which will record 24/7 for free. The camera does not require replacing or charging any batteries since you are connecting it to a light socket. You just screw it in and follow the instructions on the mobile app. It's very simple to get it going. The video quality is in high definition and also has MagicPix which gives the video some dynamic range similar to HDR. It also has a security light that will activate after dawn if an event is triggered. Overall this lightbulb camera is well worth the money. I would recommend it to someone who needs to keep an eye on their property.

Easy set up and the camera 1080 picture is excellent. Camera tracking is excellent as well as sound recordings. Only con is camera is not able to zoom, but for the cost I don’t care. You are able to set up multiple locations to auto send the camera too. For example, my washer and dryer are in the garage. I have one location set up to look at my laundry equipment so I can tell when cycles are finished. You can manually zoom by pinching the picture to enlarge. Another feature is at night when it’s totally dark in the garage you have night vision, which allows you to see everything very well, but on the plus side it also has a light that you can turn on and off to enhance your visibility. Well, worth the price of a mission here folks.

The media could not be loaded. Edit #2: customer support finally got back to me and they were having network issues. But, as I was taking the camera out of the socket it slipped out of my hand and fell and dented the screw in end and is useless now. I will probably order another one since it disappearing was a glitch at their end. I guess I need to be more patient. Edit: shortly after my review the camera suddenly disappeared from the app and I cannot get it back. I've done the installation process several times and it won't recognize the QR code. And it doesn't have another way to verify my camera. I'll keep trying, but I'm pretty disappointed it did this. At least it was only $20. I've been wanting a security camera for a few years, but having to mount it somewhere and/or wire it for power was not much of an option. When I saw this merely screwed into a light socket, I had to give it a try. And for $20 it was worth a shot. I've had it for about a month and am quite pleased with the video quality and the sensitivity. The night vision is amazing. I like that you can add an SD card, but I have yet to figure out how to delete just portions of it instead of having to format it and delete everything on it to keep space on it. The app works quite well and there are many settings you can adjust to your liking. I tried the free trial of the paid subscription that supposedly gives me 3 minutes of recording stored in the cloud at each event. But, the most it ever gave me was 20 seconds. I'm not sure if I just can't figure out how to get 3 minutes or what. So, I just have the free service and that is adequate for me. I've never had a security camera before so I have nothing to compare this with. But right now I'm quite happy because I just had to put it in the light socket and use the app to connect it to my Wi-Fi. I do have two other lights on the same circuit so I merely unscrewed them enough that those lights don't come on. You have to leave your power switch on for the camera to work. It also is not waterproof so you have to have it under shelter which I do. It got really cold for a little while and it still work perfectly fine. So far, I'm very happy with it.

This camera was so easy to set up and get working. The night vision is superb! There is an option for color night vision by turning on the white light. The white light option also works great as a regular lighting fixture. The audio is magnificent. The camera does not miss a beat. There is also the option to detect people only which is great. There is a motion tracking feature which I really like. It tracks the movement to the point the object becomes out of range and then the camera goes back to the original watchpoint. For example, if the camera is set to watch my door and someone comes in through that door and moves around, the camera will keep tracking that person until they move out of the camera's range. Then after a while, (maybe 30sec-1min, I didn't time it but it's not long) the camera goes back to watching the door. So far I am not being forced to subscribe to anything so that's great. You won't regret buying this. it also works great in the rain.

The price on these are great. They work pretty much as advertised. It sends photos of every visitor to my door to my phone. While Ring cams are nice I believe they have monthly charges. Who needs that?
