  • The Griffy taxie The Griffy taxie
I love this thing. And my little buddies do too. I put this trailer/stroller together today and let my little buddy's check it out and get into it. Then put all 5 in and pushed it around the yard for awhile. They did not want to get out. So off we went all six of us. Went out for a couple mile walk. Got back and they said why did you stop pushing papa, lets go again. So after a little break we were off again. Another couple miles. The tails were wagging the whole time. I usually walk them but can only walk two at a time so that I can lift them up and protect them in case of larger dogs charge. Also it makes it nice to have them in there to protect them from larger dogs. So the five combined weigh about 70 lbs. Enough room for all to be in there and not be to crowded. I wanted a trailer to pull them behind my bike at slow speeds. To take them for a little fun while I get some exercise. I saw this and liked the idea that it is a stroller also. The front wheel pivots which makes it easy to maneuver. Or you can fix the front wheel for like jogging. For the price it is a very good deal. The suspension does seem to soften the ride. But I bought the 2.5 inch pad to put inside to cushion more. The thin pad that it comes with attaches by 4 small Velcro tabs that kept coming loose and pad folding up. Put a towel in but then bottom material is slippery so towel slides all over with the 5 in it. So hoping the pad will fix those problems. Also I think some type of pad would be beneficial in trailer mode to cushion ride and make bottom more durable. One thing I did not like was on the 4 corners to enable canvas cover to attach there is a large opening that the dogs paw can slip through. It is a couple inches tall and you can see through it. I think the pad will help with that also and stuffing a towel in there. The pad I believe is like two inches narrower and shorter than the bottom inside of trailer. Have not confirmed yet waiting on pad. Got the pad and length wise fine. Width was narrow so rolled up a towel and stuffed along one side. But over all me and my little buddies give it thumbs up and they are excited to go for rides in it. A couple things I wanted to share. The square tubes on rear frame sticking up that people said we're sharp and we're afraid of their dog scraping on them. Those are for the front wheel when you take that off to convert to bike trailer. To protect dog while in stroller mode. Get a couple 1 inch chair feet from your local hardware store or hear on Amazon that you can slip over them. The trailer extension folds under carriage while in stroller mode. To extend the trailer arm tilt it up on it's rear. Leave center pin in but unlatch the wire keeper. Remove other pin. Swing arm to forward position. Insert pin. Another tip is the crossbar inside buggy. For assembly to complete leave the push arm with brake lever off. Look through top. There will be a cross bar hanging. Remove pin. Swing it up and spread the top as much as you can and slip bar into plastic bracket. Then insert pin. Then install push bar with brake lever. Easier that way. To fold reverse that order. ... show more

  • Good trailer for the price!
Color: White Size: 52"D x 31"W x 40 1/2"T
This is a great trailer, I bought to carry my 3 smaller dogs along On my rides. The axle hole was a bit smaller than needed for my particular bike (Rad Rover ebike) so I found someone that drilled the nut hole and washer indent On the connector to fit my bike as I couldn’t find an alternate connector big enough. It worked perfectly after this. I also saw comments about it being hard to install the rod across the top and it was a bit tough, took two of us. While on the floor we pushed with one foot against the installed rail on the wall after connecting on end, then with steady pressure it went into place on opposite side where it supposed to connect. Just took a bit of work but I think it’s better to try than to leave it out as some people suggest. It seems way sturdier. I think some comments suggested the rod was too big to fit, I can see how they thought that, but maybe they were hesitant to apply the pressure needed to fit it into place. My son and I are by no means mechanically inclined but somehow we managed to properly put this together so I know it can be done! The instructions are not the best, but it is easy to see how and where things need to be olinstaljed to have it work. I like the roll up plastic window to allow a breeze on warmer days and also has a Velcro lift up sunroof, my dogs cannot get out because they are small enough, but if you had a bigger dog it would work as well for them to have their head out while riding. In my opinion this worth the money, good quality, easy to put together; with the exception of the small modification needed for my axle, overall I’m glad I purchased! I did not install the front tire Nor connect the brake as I will not use as a stroller. ... show more

  • Human and cat approved! Human and cat approved!
I really love it, but wish I could change just a few things. I regret getting red and black as it gets hot in the sun quickly! I replaced the pad inside with a memory foam bath mat and a cooling pad, as the fabric on the one it came with make my cat slide around. Other than that it works perfect! My cat loves it, and has yet to break out if he gets freaked. The front wheel lets you pull a standing 360 when unlocked, and stays straight when locked in jogger mode. The breaking system is okay for keeping is still when not in use, but it will slide a bit with my 22lb cat inside. The tires themselves are impressive, I didn't have any issues with defects though the packaging did come a little beat up. Set up was better with two people, and the instructions needed a little interpreting. I've taken it on over 80 hikes and walks and it has held up well! Handles perfectly on rough terrain, I haven't had any issues with it flipping sideways. If my cat sits in the very back it will tip a bit, but a small weight on the front bar fixes it! ... show more

  • Super product does not disappoint Super product does not disappoint
After researching the options and reading reviews, I purchased this product for my Cairn and Westie (total of 26 lbs.), and I couldn't be happier. For the price, quality, features, and versatility, this trailer (with stroller option) is hard to beat. As a unit it is too tall to put in my SUV, but the wheels pop on and off easily and the handle bars move down making it easy to transport. Once on the trail, I found the trailer to ride smoothly with no noticeable drag or sway. It comes with a durable nylon-covered pad for the interior, but my dogs seemed to slide on it a bit. I just added a fleece pad from their crate, and all was fine. My dogs just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed the ride and the views. My first trek with the trailer was on my road bike; I did purchase another attachment to use on my mountain bike. The tires on the trailer should be fine for a rougher surface. I also tried out the stroller putting the front wheel in the unlock position. It, too, was smooth and easy to maneuver, although I did notice a tilt and unbalance when both dogs shifted to the back. My only complaint is that the directions, as noted by other reviewers, were virtually worthless and very confusing. Ditch the directions provided and either construct it without or check out some of the YouTube postings, which are multiple times better. This product exceeded my expectations. I love this product and so do my dogs, who now just hop on in. Looking forward to taking them on many excursions. ... show more

  • Good depending on how you intend to use it
Color: Blue Size: 61" L x 32.75" W x 42.5" H
This initially took me about an hour to set up. The hardest part was getting the pre-wrapped canopy frame into place. Generally speaking, all of the holes did line up, but the last step of putting the frame into place requires some muscle as it relies on a bit of tension to keep it standing. Somewhere in the item description there was a mention of being collapsable for storage. This is untrue and a major reason why I am now looking for another dog trailer. You must take turns slowly and widely, especially right turns or your bike's rear wheel will rub against the trailer arm and you'll get stuck. My 30# corgi is still getting used to the whole experience, but we're getting there. He likes to stand up on his hind legs and pop his head out of the top like a convertible so I have to leave the top door unzipped. Pros: - 3 screen doors that can unzip. Top has dual covers (cover + screen) for sun/rain protection. Front has screen plus clear plastic panel on front for rain. Rear entrance is a zippered screen only, so your dog will always be able to see out the back. - sturdy construction - sturdy air-filled tires - has suspension - easy to put on and off bike, once fully assembled - can convert into stroller/jogger, switching is easy Cons: - cannot collapse down for storage/travel - big, which in itself is not bad, esp if you have a bigger dog or want to haul more than one dog, but otherwise, it is bulky and takes up a lot of space - flooring is flimsy. You'll want to have additional bedding to add support and comfort for your dog(s) - interior tether to keep your dog securely attached is weak. the first time my dog tried to jump out of the open front door ripped it clean off. I have to take a regular leash and wrap it around the bike frame to ensure that he won't be able to get out. ... show more

  • absolutly wonderful. great for people and pets with disabilities
Color: Blue Size: 61" L x 32.75" W x 42.5" H
everyone on the lake trail with old dogs stops me and asks where did i get this. I spent a real long time trying to figure which one to buy and i am so so glad i got this one. it is very well constructed and impeccably designed. they seemed to think of everything. it's so great to be able to have all the various ways to get the dogs into the trolly. Its super easy to switch back and forth between bike mode and walking/running mode. Its super light weight and i can fit 3 20 pound pugs in here! i bought this for my blind deaf 14 year old pug. this has truly changed her life. she is in love with life again. i watched her go from depressed to loving life again. she looks forward to the wind in her face and the gentle movement. the two young pugs love it too. i can finally get the whole gang to the beach without everyone pulling me on the leash. I have a disability and this also helps me walk when my back is out so its a win win win for me and for the dogs. i wanted to write an update since i have had this a year and it held up perfectly!!! my dogs love it so much they jump into it on their own! i outfitted mine with some bike lights so that i can use it at night. i cant tell you how much i appreciate the manufacturers for this outstanding product! i would invest in the company its truly wonderful!! btw my puggy dog is still alive at 15 now thanks to this product. i would gladly do a video im that thanksful. ... show more

  • Great trailer with great features.
There is still three feet of snow on the ground up here in Maine so I haven't yet had a chance to give this trailer a proper road test but other than that, I am VERY impressed. It is much larger than I thought it was going to be. I wanted a trailer that would hold my two Pomeranians. Well, this one can do that and then some. My parents have a Australian Cattle dog(about 40-50 pounds) and even he has plenty of room to spare in this trailer. The trailer also seems very well built and breaks down quickly and easily so you can put it in your car(Pop off the back handle bar, pull one pin and fold down the sides, push in a spring loaded pin to remove each wheel and you are done). I especially like how the front tire is mounted compared to other pet trailers which are on Amazon. The front tire bracket is shaped like a triangle and has two mounting points instead of the one mounting point that all other trailers use. Very solid and very durable. Oh, and ALL the tires on this trailer are inflatable. Apparently, some other trailers use a solid rubber tire for the front. You can also lock the front tire or unlock it so that it pivots for steering. And speaking of tires and ride, this trailer has a suspension system. Nothing fancy. A spring above each rear wheel meant to absorb some of the shock of the bumps which you are going to hit. I think that I saw only one other type of pet trailer that had a suspension. I like the idea of a suspension under my dogs very much and I think that they will appreciate it too, even if they don't realize it. There is plenty of ventilation in this trailer. Besides the access openings, all of which are zippered with the option to close them with a "window" or screen, the sides are a very durable feeling black mesh. There is a removable, cushioned pad inside the cab of the trailer as well as one short lead that is attached to the floor for you to hook your dog to. The trailer also has a braking system with one brake handle on the rear push bar that activates brakes on both rear wheels. The brake can be locked on as well. There is a fairly large storage pocket on either side of the outside of the trailer cabin(I think you can see them in the pictures here on Amazon). They are larger than they look in the advertisement photos. I have medium sized hands and can just about put one hand completely inside the pockets. This trailer DOES NOT come with assembly instructions(or instructions of any kind) but DOES come with the two small tools that you need to assemble it. Even without instructions, I had no problem assembling this trailer by employing common sense alone. I had it up and ready to go in less than ten minutes after unpacking it. I guess that's it. I hope that I covered everything that someone might wish to know about this trailer. I chose this pet trailer after comparing it to every other pet trailer that Amazon sells(I also looked on Ebay). No, this isn't the cheapest but its not even close to being the most expensive either and, for the money, I believe that this trailer has the most to offer. If you purchase this trailer, I firmly believe that you will feel that you got a quality product. ... show more

  • Revising Review -Aesom Stroller- Bike Trailer Flipped over wmy 25# Frenchie!
Color: White Size: 52"D x 31"W x 40 1/2"T
Revised Rwview- 4/20. Well I though this cart seemed pretty good for I prices first reviewed. However I never used it as a bike trailer till now as my bike was finally put together a week ago. So tonight I took my Frenchie , who weighs 25 lbs for a ride, he loves going with me.so I thought this was perfect. We went around my neighborhood for a few blocks fine- this is the 3rd time I've used it as a bike trailer. So we were turning a right-hand corner at about 3- 4 miles an hour, I hit a bump on corner, the cart bounced up and flipped over on its side then rolled all the way onto its top!!!! Thank God I had my dogs harness on and he was attached to the tie down so he did not fall out or get injured but he was scared to death!! However it damaged the cart and the fabric is now all torn. It's not durable at all. I literally used as bike trailer 3x; s5 or 5x as a stroller for my senior Boston Terrier max. I have used it less than 10 times total. I'm now afraid to use it as a trailer at all. I would post pictures but there is no place to add them. Original review- i haven't used it yet but its very nice, roomy, wide and seems qill made and sturdy. I only rolled my 13 to Boston Terrier around the driveway so far and she seemed to like it. She still likes to walk but gets tired when it's hot. It also Rolls well. It was pretty simple to put together in about 20 minutes alone. Will not fold easily as you have to take main support out of top. It does just fit through the door. Have not tried it on the bike yet. I think.I need to buy an adapter? So far it's all good ... show more
