I did not find assembly difficult. It takes patience and intentionality. Also, the manual has weblinks you can scan with your smartphone camera that will take you to the exact spot in an online instructional video. The shed is of very high quality and very sturdy. I had read of a roof coming down on one due to snow, but there is a metal framing/support for the roof that is more than sufficient, and the roof itself is very sturdy. Perhaps that was for a different model? I did crack two of the sunroof panels, so when bending those (as required) do not go too fast. I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending replacements. Arrived a bit later than advertised. The assembly was pretty simple, I spent more time measuring and leveling the wood foundation than it took to put the shed up. I was able to do it solo, but assembly would be much easier with two sets of hands. She’s was missing a couple parts, but customer assistance was responsive and quick to ship them out and fix the situation. She’d has been up for a few months now, no leaks or cracks, and looks like it will last a long time. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I'm about 70 years old and I put this shed together by myself in 3.5 days. I have built a number of sheds in my lifetime and made my share of mistakes. I was determined not to make the same mistakes this time around! Of course, you can't afford to make a mistake on the foundation. It has to be perfectly level and or you will pay for it later. The preparation and pouring of the slab is important. I had a concrete pro help me mix, pour, and finish 67 bags of 60 lb Quikcrete. Overall, the instructions are not bad and the video quite good. There was one thing that they left out though that caused me to waste a couple of hours. I included a photo of the back wall AFTER I had to disassemble it and assemble it a second time. The guy in the video does not do us a service by implying that you can just tap the wall panel with your foot to slide it into place. IF THERE ARE ANY GAPS BETWEEN THE PANELS AT ALL, WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT INSTALLING THE 3RD CORNER, IT WILL NOT FIT! You really have to pound each panel with a wood block and mallet to ensure that they are flush with each other. Otherwise, you will end up removing the back wall, like I did, and starting over. If you zoom in on the corners of that back wall you will notice that there is a gap at the floor. I could not get the tabs to pop into the slots. Once I had the roof installed there was enough weight that I was able to pry the floor up from the outside to pop those tabs into the slots. Other than the temporary issues with the back wall, things fit together remarkably well. Everything has a tight fit, so if you start off with a perfect foundation and pay attention to the alignment of every part, with any luck things will go smoothly! ... show more

I am pretty handy with most things and my wife talked me out of just building one. Big mistake! Instructions were not as clear as I think they should have been, the video was helpful. You must have a level floor/foundation of the doors will NOT line up. It took about 18 hours to put together. You must lay everything out as it comes in three boxes. You need parts out of all three boxes instead of one box having everything for a section. Too much back and forth. It is a bit filmsy and not really any way brace it as you are dealing with plastic. Would not buy again. If you need a shed go with their smaller ones as I have a Lifetime 8x7 that I do like. ... show more

Even though you get an instruction book there are no instructions the only instructions there are is for minor assembly tasks such as Gables some truss instructions nothing is marked for order u will need a hell of a lot of self driven ingenuity in putting this together

I love this shed. Use a concrete pad and take your time to build it. Read the manual carefully and watch the video as you build each section. It is a very attractive and well-made shed.
