WOW I am inpressed. I found these searching for containers that would fit the shelves I have and found these. I was a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but decided to roll the dice and try these out. I am so very happy to say these are just what I was looking for they are just smaller in size than the 27 gallon version I already have. they are strong and it helps me organize my shelves better. There smaller size keeps me from storing to much stuff and allowing me to rid some of the excess stuff I really didn't need. UPDATE The seller doesn't give a damm about his customers. One of the tops came broken and after I tried to tell them the problem they didn't respond. One of the tops was broken and placed in the middle of the pack to try and cover it up. They don’t latch! I learned only after filling 8 of them for moving that they do not snap shut! They just sit on the top and come off if even slightly jostled. I will have to duct tape all my boxes before the movers come. Useless. Terrible, frustrating buy.

I needed a smaller container to pack things so that it wouldn’t be too heavy for me to lift. These work great for me. They stack nicely. You do lose some space in the container as the lid sits down about an 1”inside.
