I recently ordered an inmotion V5F unicycle. I have yet to ride it. Some of this is due to the very poor customer experience of acquiring a crash cover … from the very same company that makes the unit. I think the cover that I have is for the V8 series. But there’s no real way to prove this. There is no indication on the cover, and the cover was shipped pretty much by itself in the box. No way to tell, by looking at it, what size it is. Further, the image that shows measurements does it in kind of weird way — rather than showing the measurement of the circumference, which can be measured, the measurement is made ‘in the air’, where you can’t really tell what is being measured. In any case, the fit sags at the top, and at the bottom. There’s not really an ‘elastic’ fit to it, like it seems like there should be. Though I can get the light shining out of the front, sort of, the light on the back is completely obscured by the cover. So I immediately contacted Amazon and reported that the wrong size cover was sent to me. Now I have two covers that appear to be the larger size. Did I mention there is no marking on the cover at all that identifies its size? And that it ships without any manuals, or anything, indicating that the company ever had any idea what size it was for? (This was both times … I guess this is an item that has been returned before, repackaged, and resold? There is another version of the cover sold under the name “HUAYUWA”. Strangely, it looks almost exactly like this InMotion version (even has the same printing and brand) — except rather than have a hole for the pedal, the bottom part is cut off. This cover costs twice as much. So, presumably, what happened here is that this company purchased this cover and then chopped off the bottom part in order to make it fit? My overall evaluation: sus.

The clips holding the cover to the wheel well broke in the first day. This is my first EUC and after about a day of use the cover is well used, however has broken in many places from low to no speed learning experiences. I ordered this with my In Motion V5+ EUC . The cover arrived timely, and before the EUC. Good shipping standards, and product concept seems a good idea. Product quality seems to be the issue. As others have reviewed the fitment is loser than one would hope, and in my experience the clips have broken off completely, meaning i have to adjust the cover every time i ride my wheel.

I was looking forward to the arrival of this wheel. With bated breath, I opened the packaging and found it to be nicely protected against the rigors of shipping. With other wheels, I have found that they usually have a charge of about 50% and I can pair them with the app right away even before charging. I pressed the button with anticipation... boo, no response. The button did not react in any way. Oh well, maybe it's touch sensitive and the battery isn't charged. Plugged it into the charger and waited for a full charge. Pressed the button again. No response. Got on the phone with Amazon support. Talked to a guy with a heavy accent who was pleasant enough, but wanted me to contact Inmotion warranty support. I wan't happy about that and insisted on a return. After a few minutes of him telling me to press the button and charge the wheel, I guess he gave up and gave me instructions to return the thing. So... not happy with the experience.

Serious and Dangerous Design Flaws... Loose Fit(only one connection fits other hangs loose)... Thin padding... Very slippery... No Rain Protection... Only covers middle... Bottom 20 percent and Top 15 percent Unprotected... Covers up Running Lights... Only Good while Learning Off Road( side walk/park/yard) and dry weather...
