modern style in a color that matches with most furniture. it was easy to assemble and arrived quickly. since im 6’1”, i was shopping for a chair that had a seat height that was taller than others to make it more confortable on my hips and legs, and it was a good choice. the only downsides are that it squeaks a little if you move in the chair and the arm rests dont have a great amount of padding, so you can feel the wood frame underneath easily. ... show more

I assembled this alone fairly easy by using my wall as an anchor for the chair’s weight to snap the last piece in. I was looking for a replacement chair that I bought several years ago from Target, that I had to get rid of because my child was using it as a canvas. This looked similar in style & in measurements. At $147 the fabric was luxurious, the dark brown color will hide dirt. The seat is wide enough for me to sit cross legged & for my little one to curl up. The cushion is foam firm but not hard. The height from the seat to the armrest is high but not high enough for me, it's not deep enough for me to slide in & feel like I'm enveloped in it. I had a little difficulty attaching the arms to the seat since I'm short, so I had to lay arm on it's side & had to use all my strength to lock it in. The legs are plastic & I'm not sure how long it will last. Overall it's a good buy for the price, just didn't meet all my expectations. ... show more

It is not as deep as described. It's only 29" deep. The cushion is not a separate cushion. There's extra foam on the front to make it look like a cushion. Very deceptive and a huge red flag.The actual padded part is about 1.5" show by my finger on the seat. It's empty underneath. The seat back is much more upright than shown in the pictures. It's basically sitting upright with no leaning back. I sat in it for a few hours and was uncomfortable the whole time. Overall, I'm disappointed and returning this chair.
