I get a good chuckle from reviews thinking this lure is no good because they didn't catch fish with it. Well, neither did I but it's still getting 5 stars because it seems to be well built and did put up with a good does of abuse when I accidentally didn't secure the hook to the rod and took off down the highway in my Jeep after leaving the beach. The poor thing flopped and banged around for a good 10 miles but was still in fine shape. Give it a try, there is a fish out there who will find it interesting. ... show more

These are a go to lure. I've caught numerous species all up and down the east coast with xraps but particularly this small shallow diver. Seriously, I've caught grouper, mackerel, snapper, mutton, bluefish, Jack crevalle, and stripers.
