I like the possibility to change the weight. The ends seem to loosen a bit but I just check them when I use them to be sure they are tight. Someone said they roll, and that's a little bit of a draw back, but I just make sure that they are secure.

The media could not be loaded. These LIFERUN adjustable dumbbells are terrific. I got the set of 2 5lb dumbbells which they advertised as being adjustable to 3lb, 4lb, or 5lb. But what I have found is that you can also adjust them to 1lb or 2lb. The handle just by itself weighs 1lb, so you can use the handle without any plates to achieve 1lb. You can attach the two center plates, which weigh 0.5lb each, to the handle to achieve 2lb. I have attached photos showing the setup for each weight increment from 1lb - 5lb. They are definitely space saving if you don't want to have 5 pairs to dumbbells lying around. Plus, since the ends are flat, you can stand them up vertically to take up even less space. All of the parts of the dumbbells are well machined and screw together smoothly. One of the concerns I had about them prior to ordering was whether the plates would come loose and start unscrewing themselves as you work out. But that turns out not to be a concern. There's a little rubber washer on each of the threaded screw ends which keeps them from coming loose. The foam handles are very comfortable in the hand and gives you a good grip, as well as being pretty sharp looking with the blue stripes. The dumbbells overall are very attractive looking with the shiny chrome finish. They are certainly the best looking weights in my home gym. Being as space saving as they are and easy to adjust, I am keeping them by my home office desk. At any time when I feel like I've been too sedentary, I'll grab these dumbbells to get in some quick toning exercises. I highly recommend them.
