I love, love, love this electric fireplace. So much I bought one for my parents' house. Shipped in a timely fashion. All I had to do was take it out of the box, place it in my fireplace and plug it in...and BEAUTIFUL AMBIANCE!!! It comes with a 6 ft cord and buttons on the right side, out of sight, for power, heat, flame and timer. A remote control comes with it which makes it super convenient to use. The settings have 3 level for heat and flame height. The heat you can feel standing in front of it. It gets very warm. Standing back 10 feet, you don't directly feel the heat but this fireplace will take take the chill out of the air and heat the room in 15 to 20 min. My living room is approximately 18 x 24 ft and I can feel the difference in warmth coming down the stairs into my living room when the heater is on. It can get too hot that I either turn it off or change the level of heat coming out. I think it looks wonderful in the day and night. It creates such a cozy environment. Last photo is the 2nd one I bought. I had been looking for an electric fireplace log set for years and I finally found one that the looks and price was right. I recommend this very much! Love it. Sorry Santa, you may need to use the door this year instead. ;-) ... show more

Got this for parents for Christmas to set inside their fireplace that they have never used. They did not want the hassle of getting a gas line run just for the “ambiance” of a fire. They absolutely love the ambiance this gives when the flames flicker on the brick inside. It was a huge plus that you can use with or without the heat option since my mom can’t tolerate heat but loves the look of a fire. Remote is easy and works great. Very happy with this. The media could not be loaded. So much nicer than I expected! Love that it looks so realistic. I had my old gas fireplace removed and the gas line shut off and sealed. Not cheap! But I knew an electric fireplace was the way to go. There must be a projector in the back of the logs because the image of the flames shows on the back wall behind the logs. Ingenious!! My brother is a Master Electrician and is going to install an outlet on the floor of the fireplace so you won’t see the cord. .The remote makes it so easy to operate. I’m thrilled with this purchase for a little over $100. It looks so beautiful. So very happy. Thank you! ... show more
