I've seen a lot of complaints about the battery life on this thing, which I don't understand. This device goes about 8 miles per hour at top speed. The description says it will go about 6 miles on a single charge, and people are complaining that they only get 45 minutes to an hour on a charge. That's 45 minutes. If you're getting 45 minutes or more, than you can't complain about the product you bought. ... show more

I ordered this for my grandson and he loved it until the battery quit taking a charge which was about 3 months. The company was great about taking it back. However, they would not exchang it for another one. After they gave me a refund, I had to order a new one.

My 8 year old loved this item for Christmas. We bought two of them for our twins. One of them is still working but one of them just stopped charging after 3 months. The hoverboard lights come on when it is attached to the charger, but not at all when it removed from the charger. The charger light stays green when it is plugged into the hoverboard and doesn't recognize the hoverboard has a low battery. The same charger works perfectly with the second hoverboard. Since I am unable to return this item and it is not warranted in any way, I can only leave this review as a warning to future buyers (beware!) I just had to drop another $130 on a new hoverboard to replace it. ... show more
