Nice conversion units! I used these to convert old mobile home axles away from the split ring set up they came with. Installation was pretty straight forward. I bought new backing rings for the brake backing plate. I cut off the old backing rings, got the right amount of end play and welded them to the axle shaft. Í would recommend and buy again this trailer hub drums , they work good, one thing to point is that one of the seal and dust caps come damaged because of the shipping I contacted customer services and they send me a replacement right away I will buy again for my next project

I cannot say enough about this product and how great a value it was. Very quick delivery and packed well. Well made and all the needed hardware was included. The brake plate is completely preassembled. Just pack the bearings with grease of your choice, tap in the seal, and you are good to go. The only thing they could do better would be to include weatherproof crimp connectors for the break wires. ... show more

These work great to replace those aging brakes on your RV. I like to replace everything at once instead of individual parts as they go out. Simple install, good quality and work great! Make sure you perform the break in procedure to get the best performance from your new brakes. Very happy as they arrived undamaged even the packaging left something to be desired (a.k.a.     • Broken studs
The brakes worked fine, I hit a bump in the road in the Fort Worth area and all 6 studs snapped off. I lost a custom wheel and tire on my 5th wheel. Replaced all the studs on all the drums with a reputable stud manufacturer.
