Had a issue and they went above and beyond. Seems like a good product as the construction is simple and quality looks good. I just want a hose reel to last which is why I bought it. My previous one is covered and now I have a family of bumble bees under it.

I'm not an experienced DIYer, but found this easy to assemble. I couldn't believe how easy it was to get my hoses on the reel! I expected to have to feed it into the reel, but it wasn't necessary. It does weigh approximately 2 tons, so be aware this reel isn't on wheels.

I would (and actually plan to) purchase again. I wanted to wait until I could use this one before purchasing another for the hose in the back. This thing feels very solid and it is very smooth and rolls the hose up with ease. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I wish it had a guide for the hose because you have to constantly adjust where the house is going on the reel or it will just build up on one edge until it runs over the edge. It's not super difficult to do this, but would be great if you didn't have to. I loved my sunco automatic hose reels but after many years of use they've stopped working and the newer ones are just too cheaply made so I wanted something that would last and this was the best that I could find for the price and that didn't require attaching to my house or a post. Really like it, but would love it if it had a hose guide. ... show more

This is a very well-made and well-designed hose reel. I'm done with the plastic ones. They don't last more than a season or two in our hot summers. This one is so sturdy and is actually quite attractive, with key assembly parts made from metal, I'm hoping it will last a long time. Assembly was easy, all parts were nicely packaged in the shipping box, and everything went together perfectly. I like how compact it is for a wheeled hose reel. It's very lightweight, takes up very little space, yet easily holds my 100 ft hose with no problem. Reel spins easily, with a really nice padded handle. I get full water pressure from the hose, even when hose is fully reeled up, so not sure why someone else complained about that. ... show more

This hose reel is mostly made of plastic. I was disappointed because I saw a very similar item at Costco but they sold out so I thought this was the same but is not. The one at Costco was mostly brass and aluminum and was very heavy duty and was $99. This one is all plastic with the exception of the aluminum struts of the legs and top handle. Both threaded connection points that connect to the hose is plastic so it may leak after a few years. This plastic one will probably only last a few years vs the one at Costco will probably last 10 years. ... show more

I've used this for a season and it's the first house reel I've ever had. Wish I would have bought it sooner. I think I have a 75 ft hose on it and it seams to be of good quality. Easy to put together.
