These plates are well made with no flaws in the stoneware after thoroughly examining each piece. I was impressed, prompting me to ordered a second set which also was flawless, and giving me enough plates, cups and mugs for a party of 6 with 2 and extras. The plates are elegant pearl finish with a tan edge and have a nice size with a balanced weight. The coffee cups are a medium size unlike other sets that offer small coffee cups. Same applies for the bowls they are a nice size for serving soup or having cereal. Product is well packaged as shown in the pictures. I would recommend this product.

I love the color and style of these dishes. I DON"T like that they are thin and fragile. I broke a plate while unpacking them. So fragile. The cups are sturdier. I do enjoy drinking my coffee from them. They hold a lot of coffee. I like the lip on the plates that holds liquid from vegetables or gravies. The bowls are a nice size.
