    • Attractive lamp with plenty of light for small area
Replaced an 80s era globe hallway light with this unit. Easy installation took all of 10 minutes. Doesn't include light bulbs, but I installed TWO 13 watt LED (60 watt equivalent) bulbs, and the light is very pleasant. The base of the light (the part that rests against the ceiling) is slightly smaller than the older light, so there is a noticeable ring on the ceiling if you look for it. My wiring scenario did not include a ground application (meaning my old fixture used chassis ground without connection to the ground in the overhead wiring), I looked up into the box and saw the wiring was grounded to the metal junction box. I chose not to tie the lamp chassis ground to that due to the fact that the lamp ground was chassis mounted, and it all screws to the j-box. You may do it differently, I feel confident and safe in my installation. I thought this was a little bit expensive for what I got, but it looks better than what was installed, and has girlfriend approval, so that' s good enough for me. ... show more

    • Attractiveness alternative to boob lights
They do take some assembly, but not too complicated. Very attractive alternative to standard boob lights. We have a slanted ceiling that isn't very tall, so they have the combination of being close to the ceiling but hanging straight down. I think they're pretty.

    • Difficult to hang glass part of light - unless you have three arms that is!

Trying to hold glass to fixture while trying to screw on the ring with the three provided screws is quite awkward unless you have three arms or an assistant to hold the glass up while you attach the three screws to the ring that holds the glass up!!!!!!! JUST MY OPINION. I will look elsewhere for something more simple to hang in my two other rooms. ... show more

I put this in my entryway. It looks very nice. Easy to put together. I did have to play with the adjustment of the glass globe, but got it to look right.
