I was so back and forth on this purchase as the reviews were either...."it's a terribly cheap piece", or "we absolutely love this TV stand". I decided to go for it, as I didn't want to spend $700 for our downstairs stand to house my husband and children's excessive electronics collection. My hubby put it together without much issue. It did take him about three hours. He did mention four screws were missing, but we had them on hand anyways. There was a small scuff on the top "wood" piece, but again it's an easy fix. The item came sooner than expected. It is sturdy and fits all the crap I wanted out of sight. The doors stay in place and there is no trouble opening the top two drawers and having the hardware scrape that it came with. I am 100% happy with this purchase and glad I didn't waste an extra $500 on something similar from a furniture store.

It took me over a month to finally get set this up. Got stuck on step 2 after a great deal of struggling. Pre-drilled holes with threads in them were not flush and pushed too far in to attach suggested screws. Tried the longer screws, which you only get a limited number of and they worked fine. Tried multiple different screws, but none of the short ones worked. Contacted customer support. They shipped me out a whole bag of different replacement hardware; almost every piece but ZERO longer screws which was all I needed. Contacted customer support two more times before they refunded me $20. Ended up just using longer screws and didn't have enough for the final steps. Had to alternate and leave a few out. Instructions aren't great, pilot holes not deep enough to hold wooden dowels or the dowels are too long to fit in the pre-drilled holes. Tried to follow instructions of 50 percent depth, and the dowel went through the wood, damaging finish. Thankfully, it was inside the sliding doors and not immediately visible. However, despite these issues, it's very sturdy. It looks beautiful, but definitely not for a beginner. Most difficult piece of furniture I've ever assembled. Horrible directions. Decent customer service. Whether or not it was worth the trouble remains to be seen.

Time consuming but with a drill on low torque setting helps a lot, it’s really nice, build quality looks really good. One person can build it but it is really heavy and seems scary to build with so many parts and screws but the manual is straight forward.

This tv stand weighs 90 pounds, so it took two of us put together. But, it was a relatively easy build, and I’m very pleased with how sturdy it is. The barn doors on the sides open to two shelves to store whatever you want. We have our board games on one side and DVDs on the other side. Definitely recommend!

My wife picked this design, and I always check reviews before making a purchase. Some users pointed out that the instructions were unclear and that some of the wood pieces required drilling, etc. Since my wife really liked this design, I decided to take a chance and try it out myself. First off, you should know that this item ships in TWO separate boxes that arrive on different days. I wasn't aware of this, so when the first box arrived, I was super excited to set it up, but I found a lot of missing parts that I couldn't install. I was about to reach out to the seller, but then I checked the item description and saw that it mentioned the two-box shipping. So, I waited two days for the other box to arrive. Anyway, following the instructions and using wood glue for this setup worked perfectly. I didn't run into any problems at all. It took me a few hours, but it was worth the time because I want to make sure this item lasts, especially since I'm planning to put an 85-inch TV on it with a heavy soundbar on top. So far, everything's great, and my family loves it.
