The LG Soundbar has received mostly positive reviews, with customers praising the good sound quality, ease of setup, and smooth integration with LG TVs. Some reviewers have mentioned a minor issue with the subwoofer cutting out due to Bluetooth interference. However, this is reportedly resolved by moving any other Bluetooth devices away from the subwoofer. Others mentioned mild echo when the volume is turned up and default bass that could be more robust.

Should I Buy It?
If you own an LG TV and are looking for an upgrade from your TV speakers, the LG Soundbar is a great choice. It offers solid sound quality and the minor issues that a few users reported are relatively easy to address. It's especially recommended if you can get it on sale.
Love it, not super loud but very clear rich and deep sound.
Style: Soundbar Only
I put it under an LG tv, and the tv remote works with this soundbar. No need to use the remote. It definitely beefs up the sound. It’s not “party” loud, but it doesn’t distort and it’s clean and neat. I do love it, although I thought it would go louder. Than again, how loud does your tv need go get. It’s super rich nice lows and plenty for getting sucked into a movie. I love it.

Sounds great and defiantly hits above this price point.
Style: Soundbar Only
My Bose speakers were beginning to show their age and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a new sound bar. For 200 bucks you can beat this sound bar. Simple and easy to setup. Sounds great and definitely hits above this price point.

Interference resolved
Style: Soundbar Only
Very good sound quality; easy to set up. Had problem with subwoofer cutting out periodically and checked other reviews as I recall reading something about that, and one reviewer said he called LG help line to resolve so I did the same and they helped me identify that I had another bluetooth device right next to the subwoofer. As soon as I moved it, the interference problem went away. No problems since. LG technician stayed with me while I moved the subwoofer and rehooked it up. Great support!

Amazing sound for the price!
Style: Soundbar Only
This product sounds absolutely amazing! It allows you to hear all the high and lows in great quality, and the subwoofer that it comes with has amazing range as well. My only complaint is that it came with a wall mount but no screws. I had to look pretty hard to find screws that were able to fit in the threaded screw holes on the bottom of the soundbar. Other than that small issue I think that this is an amazing product, again I am blown away by the quality of the sound.

Easy to use with my lg TV.
Style: Soundbar Only
It really helped the sound of my TV. I use the TV remote (Both LG) for the volume. I tried optic and ARC and did not hear a difference. Pairing with the sub just worked automatically. This is not powerful enough to rock the house but it does a good job of bringing out the sounds. I like the display on the front. I did not use tech support.

Don’t listen to the BS
Style: Soundbar Only
I’m surprised at the negative reviews. BS. This thing is perfect right out of the box. Hooked it all up in 5min and it works seamlessly with my LG tv. If you’re looking for a great replacement for your sucky TV speakers then look no further. Awesome product and would buy it again.

Nice for the price
Style: Soundbar Only
Significant improvement over the TV speakers. You can buy better but likely not for $179. This was super easy to setup using the optical port on my LG TV. If I had to do it over again I likely would have bought the LG SL6y as this model has a center speaker but into it which makes the voice clearer.

Sound doesn't sync well with my 2019 LG OLED
Style: Soundbar Only
From time to time the sound will go terribly out of sync. When turning on the sync feature on the LG TV, it somehow gets worse. Aside from the sync issues, ARC also has problems. The soundbar turns on with the TV about 25 percent of the time. So I have to leave the soundbar remote handy so I can turn the sound on manually. This defeats the whole purpose of ARC. Sound is pretty good for a medium sized room.
