Seem to work as expected. Got the small one 6000btu, as our windows only open 11.8" so this just fit. It's a little noisy for the size, but does the job. Much better than a portable one. Got a different model 14000btu, and it's a freaking nightmare. This one arrived nicely packaged, undamaged, and was as expected easy to install. Had it in the window within 10mins. Remote works, has some odd functions you will need to memorize if needed. Has a self clean function and connects to LG Smart platform, that assuming links to Alexa or something. Overall am pleased with this purchase. Only issue is the noise, it's pretty loud for size, but everything else is good. Almost wish just got a handful of these for each room instead of their trash 14000btu one ... show more

Was not impressed. These item says 260sq ft cooling in description. Then on the box that they deliver it clearly states 250sq ft cooling. Not that it’d make a difference but just false advertising. The unit looked nice and sleek. But in terms of cooling power it was not there. I installed it in a room 140sqft. And the unit never fully cooled the room. Which is sad, and it just ran and ran. So not only will your room not be fully cooled, your energy bill will be higher since it’s constantly trying to cool. I have a portable 150sq ft ac that cools better , and technically window units should be more efficient than portables if you know you know. So I’d stay away from this unit in particular. I returned it after 2 days, not worth the money if it doesn’t do the job it’s built for. ... show more

It came with a small pushed in part. Noticeable. Otherwise it was in perfect order. Easy to install. It is so small it is cute, but it feels like it is hard for it to make my bedroom cold. It does work eventually, but I had other LG smaller than this 6k BTUs that packed a larger punch. I guess the WiFi feature is worth it, really easy to control. Very quiet, great feature. Not Energy Efficient rated, but it sure feels the design was with that in mind. Recommend for a smaller room. I already installed it, I am not taking it down. Just get another next summer. My brother got the 8K BTU version, get that one instead. That punches. ... show more

This AC works amazingly and blows very cold air all summer long. It’s not too big in my window and is much quieter compared to my old one, although any model with an inverter would be quieter since this does have a little kick when it turns on. This is the weakest window ac I’ve ever had, and I’ve used some no name 6000btu ones before. It struggles to cool even a 200 sq ft room. Took an hour to bring it from 85f to 75f. Also the built in thermometer can be way off, I’ve had instances where the room is 79 degrees and the ac thinks it’s 73 degrees, and since I set it to 74degrees, it mistakenly thinks it has reached the target temperature and stopped cooling. ... show more
