Very nice tablet for the money. Android Nougat with octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal memory that's also expandable all packaged into $160 is almost an unheard of value. A lot of tablets out there in this price range are still using Android 5 and 6. This is Android 7, which so far is a very user friendly and efficient version of Android. I've had nothing but ease and usefulness with this tablet. I upgraded from a Samsung Tab E, which has a quad core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. The difference in performance between this and that Samsung is very noticeable. Everything loads faster. In fact my biggest reason for buying this LG is because I needed a faster tablet for an audio equipment app that has a higher system resources requirement than what the Samsung offered. This tablet has no problems running that app. Very happy with it overall. But, hold on a sec. Just an FYI that when it comes to the feel of this tablet in my hands there is a very slight difference between this and the Samsung. This doesn't feel quite as solid. I can almost feel a little bit of play in the back panel. The plastic feels thinner overall compared to the Samsung. Both of these tablets are in similar price ranges, and both were offered as AT&T entry level tablets with similar contract prices. So, while this LG is lightning faster, the Samsung feels more solid. Speaking of AT&T, that's another selling point. It has 4G capability. That's great for me since I have a data plan for a tablet. Another reviewer mentioned that it's not compatible with 4G outside the US. I can't speak to that. I use it inside the US only. From my experiences, if you spend less than $160 on a tablet, you will get what you pay for. I got more than what I paid for with this tablet as far as I'm concerned. Also, watch out for typos in the descriptions when websites compare tablet features. They often mistake RAM for storage. So, they'll show 16GB and upwards for RAM for some tablets while this one shows 2GB. In reality those other tablets probably have 1 to 1.5GB of RAM. 2GB is plenty with an octa-core, which is what this tablet has. ... show more

    • Nice hardware, but loaded with bloatware
I returned this after less than 2 days. The screen is nice and colorful, and I did like the feel of it. But brand new out of the box it was notably slower than my old phone. After some digging, I realized it came pre-loaded with a full suite of bloatware I didn't want and couldn't really uninstall. The full Google suite of course, + a host of new apps from AT&T, and all the usual suspects like both Facebook apps and YouTube. Now, I have no problem with these apps. But I don't use them, and I don't want them running on my phone. Turns out I can't really uninstall them. The best you can do is disable them, and not even all of them. Doing so did make the device faster, and I considered toughing it out. But the whole process of not being able to control my own phone left me unhappy. Then I started digging some more and realized some other features I really wanted weren't simply off, they were removed so would never be able to turn them on (Wifi hotspot being the big one - although it looked like just plain old texting was also going to require some trickery!) So, this might be a good phone/tablet combo for you if you already use all these apps, especially if you don't really play around with settings. I like to tinker, and figure I better find something a little more open to play with. Always thought that was the reason to use Android in the first place. ... show more

I was talk with the seller and he was clear with the condition of the tablet is not unlocked for make call and send messages with mobile service is only for At&t but works correctly with the data mobile service, in my case i will use this tablet for data mobile and is work amazing i recommend it the seller, the shipping to colombia was too fast and the quality the product new and without troubles, for the people of colombia that want to get the tablet and use in the country, i did the homologation process and the tablet can use in the country without any problem so, the only situation is that you can't make or received calls because this service is lock and is only for the service on USA with AT&T, so in this situation is only for data mobile you can introduce your sim card of Tigo, movistar, Claro but the register of the tablet you must to do by internet because if you try with code like *611 in a call is IMPOSIBLE so, I recommend it by the web page of the mobile company of Tigo, movistar and the app mi claro with Claro mobile, i did with the last one and my tablet is currently registered in database positive with the imei ... show more

    • the title says its unlocked but unfortunately it's locked and I'm very disappointed.
Update: I spent a whole day between T-mobile and AT&T stores to fix the problem but no hope. They told its locked and i can't unlock it, Finally I searched online for several hours and fortunately I found the solution for it to work, carrier's APN information should be entered manually to let the Sim card to work, that's it, no one mentioned about this here on Amazon. By the way the tablet is for AT&T but unlocked and the color of back casing is dark blue (not black), I'm rating it 4 stars (not 5) because the description was supposed to include the information about how to let it work on other GSM networks. Overall I'm happy now with the purchase and finally I have a decent tablet with LTE connectivity to use in my car as navigation unit (I use Sygic), this replaces my previous cellular iPad mini 4 which I gave to my daughter. Hope this helps. Received the product today, it didn't work with my T-mobile data sim card, the title says its unlocked but unfortunately it's locked and I'm very disappointed. ... show more
