I'm writing a review since the new update on the system. They stepped in the right direction and it sounds even better! Music sounds better, movies crisper and it's been a happy result! Sounds great. I would say I haven't figured out how to properly use the Atmos and I have Oled so I bought another ultra high speed hdmi to see if it sounds better. ... show more

Third Party Seller did a great job (very quick shipping and as described). Product is pretty good if a little bit underwhelming. Very small size soundbar delivers quality sound and the subwoofer delivers good but not great bass. Highly recommended for anyone with small space looking for good sound at good price (I paid $299; I don't think I'd be as content if paying more than $400). ... show more

    • Tried giving it a shot but…
Purchased this sound bar to upgrade from an old 5.1 system and to clear up some space. On paper the eclair ticked all my requirements: small, well built, support for latest codecs, and hdmi passthrough. Didn’t really care about the lack of wifi or smart assistant support. Saw and read several reviews online and despite the mixed reviews I decided to give it a chance so I pulled the trigger and bought it when I saw it go on sale. It was easy and after upgrading the firmware using the app I was ready to go. The big problem for me and the main reason why I returned it was the sound quality. The sound stage is too narrow (to be expected from a small bar) but the biggest problem was the inconsistency on the sound quality. Watching sports or tv shows the sound quality was fine, on games it was terrible, and on movies it was ok. So no matter how much tweaking I did using the app I could not get it to perform consistently well no matter the settings or sound mode. In some modes it sounded too flat, in other cases the sound stage opened up but the sound was too processed to the point of causing some fatigue. All in all I really wanted to like this bar, gave it a fair shot but ultimately I returned it. Your mileage may vary but for me it didnt work. ... show more

This product is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small black lifestyle soundbar that would sound good without having to turn on my big stereo system with Magnepan speakers. It needed to integrate well with my Dish receiver, and 65" LG C8 OLED TV. Initially I was concerned because it didn't seem to have a way to tame the commercials, but that was fixed when I downloaded the Android app for the LG soundbar control.     • Remote doesn't work right.
The sound quality is impressive. However I can't switch between modes with the remote. It worked until I downloaded the app and did an update. Now the remote only works to power on and off and change the volume. None of the other features work unless using the app.

I bought one for the bedroom and love the compact size. The room is 17 x 13 and it fills it quite nicely .
