  • 4k 120hz?
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV
The tv itself is fine it looks really good. But if you bought it to game at 120hz at 4k. You’ll be disappointed. It has all the extra stuff in it specifically for gaming. Three extra settings in fact. But when In Pc mode it goes down to 2k @120hz instead of 4k. 4k will only be at 60hz. If you want a big monitor this will be good. If you want 4k@120hz look elsewhere. Even with an 8k HDMI 2.1 cable and a 2080ti sli it cant do it. Tv wise. ... show more

  • Great TV, lasted a week before the backlight died
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV
TV backlight went out after 1 week. Hopefully I just got a lemon and the LG repair service fixes it soon. Warranty claim process was slow and buggy. Would not submit on iphone so I had to fill out all the forms again on my laptop. I will update after the repair process is complete. UPDATE: Took the day off work for the repair but they never showed up. Towards the end of the repair window I received a text that FedEx had just shipped a replacement part. Issued a return. ... show more

  • They need to fix the problems or lower the price
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV
Great TV but I have one complaint, the screen darkens slightly at the corners. It is particularly noticeable when there is a one-color background. It is not quite bad enough to go to all the trouble of sending it back, but worse than I expected on a TV that costs over $1000. As a result, NOTHING is worth 5 stars and very little is worth 4 stars. Pros: Great picture, Really good Smart-TV interface with no ads and a good choice of apps. Apps for traditional streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, & Hulu) are speedy and easy to use. Cons: Corner dimming mentioned above, 4-speaker and 40 Watt sound built-in, sounds weird probably because it is down-facing and I have a glass tabletop. It has non-traditional controls for picture and sound that are hard to find and difficult to understand how to control, if there is a "manual mode" I have not found it yet, making advice on how to set it up nearly useless. Sound Volume varies wildly depending on the source and sometimes the channel or even the individual TV show. I often need to scramble for the volume control because I cannot hear or it blasts me out of my chair. ... show more

  • Don't even worry about the "haloing"
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV
I agonized over which tv to by to replace a Sony that I am less than enamored with which has now been relegated to the rec room. I looked, and looked, and looked some more. This set always seemed to come out on top, although I'll admit that the reviews complaining about the "haloing" on this set had me hesitating. When I came across one of these in the Amazon Warehouse deals that was too good of a price to pass up, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Now I'm really glad I did. Frankly, I have experienced no issues whatsoever with the haloing "problem". I supposed that if you are a died in the wool videophile, you might be able to really nit pick the issue, but 99% of us are not, so the haloing issue is a moot point. The picture is great, and being a top of the line model, it's loaded with smart features. I won't go into the sound quality, as I use a sound bar and really haven't experienced the internal speakers much, but as they are bottom firing speakers, I suspect a pair of the speaker reflectors that are available, or that some could fashion themselves, might suffice just fine. If you are shopping for a quality set, you could certainly do a lot worse than this one while possibly even spending more. ... show more

  • They took my first review down?
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV
First TV came in broke at bottom of screen but had a excellent picture. My replacement looks fantastic on bright scenes but anyrhing dark is almost unwatchable with the light bloomimg from brighter images Also at the top of my screen I have a bright light that shines down towards the screen almost like a flashlight under it. Very hard to enjoy anything with it. Not sure how to return this TV if even possible because it would be my second return and this box I destroyed getting the TV out very safely by removing the whole back of it. ... show more

  • Bright smart TV
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV
Wow, I have a one year old Samsung in one room and added this 65” LG to our new family room. This TV is a fantastic easy to set up smart bright TV. Way better than the Samsung. The package was delivered, double packed, vertical and easy to un pack and install. I have a cable box. It took a few attempts to get the smart LG controller paired but I got it done. The LG smart controller is awesome and responds well to voice commands. This TV is a great value for the money. ... show more

  • ok screen, backlight bleed from side and bottom view angle
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV
Looks pretty good, the viewing angle is bad so if you plan on watching from front center its good, but from the side of the room you will see allot of backlight bleed

  • TV is great
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV
I bought this more for picture and size than for smart features. Picture and ease of use don't disappoint. Picture is super clear and beautiful and sound is great. Love my tv.
