I purchased this 3 weeks ago It's kinda Expensive but I got it on prime deal with a good discount, for me I use it mainly in my kitchen, I only use for entertainment recipes battery life is like 4 hrs and when I'm shutting it down on battery savings mode so it doesn't run down easily, picture quality for me is ok it's well built very nice and the fact it's detachable easily turns into a jumbo tablet is a plus it also has a cover -like case for traveling. Good value for your money. You can download any app plus it has a remote that works very well its great when shut off in power saving mode that's a plus saves your battery. Very good purchased.

I like the portability. The clarity of the screen is great. The size of the screen is perfect for me. I like the touchscreen feature. Being able to tilt the screen into multiple angles is fantastic and is a useful feature. The remote is magnetic, and that is also a thoughtful feature. I have only used the battery once and only for a short time so I cannot comment on how long the battery lasts. It did work very well on the battery though. I the touchscreen works great on all of the streaming apps for movies. However, it does not work on the one app that I use. The only other thing I wish LG had included the carry strap. That is another $80 or so and I think an unnecessary expense because the price of the TV is high enough. all in all this TV is a great concept and I am glad that I bought it.

I have the original stanbyme for my business and I love it. My business is from home and I had to carry the first one up and down the stairs and I said if the new one is on sale I will make the investment. Well thanks to Prime it was on sale and after research this version of the model was a no brainer over the swing one. This one allows you to remove the monitor from the base and take it with you. That is a game changer for me at Job Fairs and presentations. This stanbyme2 is the best purchase. My grandson came over and we took the monitor off the stand and laid it flat and played games on it. I love this thing!!

It's a thoughtfully designed portable screen that's ideal for small spaces, temporary setups, or anywhere you don't want a permanent TV. It's easy to move, looks clean in any room, and works great as a primary or secondary display. What Works: • Highly portable – The rolling stand makes it effortless to reposition around your home. • Great for limited space – Perfect for apartments, dorms, or multi-use rooms. • Decent screen and sound – Solid for casual viewing and streaming, though not high-end. • webOS – It is what it is and gets the job done Pricing: Slightly high for the specs, but the price reflects the convenience and versatility of a unique, niche product. It brings together a flexible feature set that most other solutions can’t match in a single package. I do think LG could and should offset the high price by offering an option to buy just the display without the stand. Version 3 Wishlist: • Flush glass screen for a premium, polished look. • Fabric back (like the original StanbyME) for a warmer, more refined aesthetic. Accessory Wishlist: • Kickstand accessory (originally teased but not released) would be far more convenient than the current folio; switching between folio and stand should be more seamless. • Companion speaker accessory – a la Sony's HT-AX7-style portable surround system seems ideal and if LG made their own version with the StanbyMe line in mind, it would be a perfect bundle opportunity. • Briefcase-style accessory (inspired by the StanbyME Go) with added battery life and/or built-in audio would be fun way to enhance portability. All in all, it is a smart, flexible screen that delivers on its promise. While there’s room to refine the hardware and accessories, it stands out as a compelling all-in-one solution for those who want a single screen that can adapt to a changing space and needs.

I owned a StandbyMe Go. I loved the concept - a portable TV that you can take anywhere - but the picture quality was somewhat washed out, and the weight was insane (28 pounds!). It really killed the whole portability aspect. There was also no USB-C support, so you couldn't attach cameras or hook up game systems without using HDMI. This next-generation StandByMe effectively addresses all of these issues. You get the awesomeness of the mobile stand and the ability to roll it anywhere (except on carpet - the rollers hate carpet). When you want to take it with you, it's only 10 pounds, as opposed to 28. The picture quality isn't mind-blowing, but the washed-out aspect is gone. The touch screen is very responsive. It features a USB-C port, allowing you to connect cameras or plug your game systems, such as a Steam Deck, directly into a USB-C port. You can even charge it with a portable charger as long as it can go 65W or higher. The only nitpick, and this is a matter of personal preference, is that LG's WebOS doesn't have as many apps as Roku, Google Play, or Amazon's Fire TV. It does have access to cloud gaming, such as Xbox and GeForce Now, which helps a lot. Of course, you can get around this by just using your favorite streaming device in the HDMI slot, though you won't have the touchscreen aspect. Overall, I didn't use the first generation as much as I could have because it was clunky and heavy. I am using this a lot more. Don't get me wrong, it's still quite expensive and very niche, but it's convenient to use.
