This snazzy little LEZII-IPX7 portable speaker will be your best music companion indoors and out whenever you go. It talks as you learn. Lay the speaker on your pillow at night for quiet listening. In the morning take it in the shower – Its waterproof and voltage safe (5 V). The sound quality from this compact 10 oz speaker is impressive for its size (3 ½”x3 ½” x 1 ¾”). It tucks neatly away for traveling (hiking, biking, auto). In an open room turn up the volume to hear what the LEZII can do (You can reduce distortion by lowering the volume). Bluetooth makes your phone hands-free (listening/talking). I have tested for sound breakup at distances up to 100 ft (no obstructions). This distance is reduced indoors to 20-30 ft by walls. Using free apps from Google Play (examples, VRadio and Radio FM AM), one can search out large assortments of music and different genres from hundreds of stations around the world (USA, France, Sweden, Germany and cities such as NY, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, London). The speaker offers unusual versatility with 3 audio playback modes: Built in FM Radio; TF Card MicroSD (MP3 files); Aux-IN plug (cable input from a CD player/car radio).     • Great for testing FM output of light show
I bought this for an easy / portable way to monitor the songs on our Christmas Light Show from outside. It has good sound for the size and is easy to carry around. I even clipped it to my camera rig to add sound while recording video so I could sync with better audio back on the computer. It's not going to knock your socks off with the audio, but it better sound than I expected for such a small device. Feels well constructed and would be a good option if I want something light to provide better sound than my phone on travel. The only gripes so far deal with a few of the radio features. However, these seem to be fairly common frustrations with these smaller, portable radios / speakers that have multi-function buttons. So I can't fault them too much since it's a common way to handle these issues with a small number of buttons. First, the multi-function buttons require you to long-press the volume up/down to move the radio station one direction or the other after it seeks out all signals. This can be a bit of a pain because you never know exactly what station you're on. So you might be one station to the "right" of the station you need, but since you don't know, you might just start going to the "next" station. This means you could end up cycling through all stations when you could have just gone "down" a station or two. Just hard to tell exactly where you are on the FM dial. Would be nice to be able to announce the "current station" or something like that. But it retains the same station until you move it. So if you only need to monitor a single station, it's really only a one-time thing. Next, when you turn it on, it defaults to Bluetooth mode. So I find that I have to double-press the mode button after turning it on to get to FM. I really wish it would default to the "last mode" instead of going back to Bluetooth. But I'm guessing most people that buy these are trying to use BT instead of FM. So it would be more convenient if it would just turn back on to where you had it last. Overall, I'm very pleased for the price (Black Friday deal) and it meets my needs. The frustrations so far are more inconveniences than anything and not functional problems. Haven't had a chance to flex the batteries that much yet but 8-12 hours of run time should last several days in my use case between charges. ... show more
