Ok, it's purple and cool looking. And it's only a $100? What kind of voodoo is happening here? I've been playing the trumpet for 50 years and when I saw this (even cheaper) as an Amazon Warehouse Deal, I couldn't pass up buying it. You get a perfectly fine trumpet with a decent case and the oil and cleaning gear to go with it. And, here's the thing: The valves are smooth. The joints are solid and the air flows smoothly through it. It has a "slightly on the brassy side" tone and frankly, has great intonation. Did I get lucky, or are they all this good? Bought this for my son to use during marching season. It had one valve sticking, but after taking every thing apart and a little oil it plays and sounds great. Soft case is easy to haul around too.

Package was received at specified time. All items in description were accounted for. Trumpet was received with stuck valve keys and valve keys are dirty to the point of needing service before trumpet can properly be played. Valve key pads keep coming off during play. It was the cheapest option at the time and we planned on getting a service plan for the school year so its not the end of the world but my student is having a hard time in class due to the condition instrument was received in. ... show more
