Really happy with this micrometer！It’s simple to use, It feels solid right out of the box, and the finish is much better than I expected for the price. Very good quality. Was quite surprised when I got them. I bought 3 sets for our shop. I would have given a 5 star but the thimble is plastic so I don’t know how that will last with oil. If they just change that to aluminum or steel it would be a great set

I made to small measurements it was fine moved it out to check 12mm and it locked up at 11mm it wouldn't move in or out so I sent it back

Smooth ratchet, positive lock, and the readings are repeatable. It’s been great for small hobby stuff—checking rods, spacers, and printed shims on my 3D-printer builds. Stays zeroed and the markings are easy to read. Only nitpick: the lock is a bit small. For the price, easy recommend.

This micrometer seem to be very well-built and very accurate. The construction feels solid and durable to me, and the carbide-tipped measuring faces will surely add to that. The ratchet stop provides a consistent feel when tightening, which helps ensure precise readings every time. Calibration was spot-on right out of the box. The smooth spindle and clear scale markings make it easy to use, even for fine measurements. It has a nice weight to it which is nice as not only does it give it a solid, durable feel but just easier to use and adjust not being overly lightweight. Overall, this is a great value for anyone needing a reliable 1-2” micrometer.

This micrometer is good quality. The metal is heavy, thick, and sturdy. The markings are sharp and easy to read. It came with zero perfectly calibrated. The dial turns smoothly and accurately. I appreciate that a case is included to keep it safe. For some reason, mine came with a piece of broken plastic in the case, so the plastic may be somewhat fragile. The broken piece is meant to hold the instrument in place, and it still doesn't move around without that little piece. Nothing else has any problem.
