I love it! Right put of the box i was happy because of how easy it was to assemble, literally just have to unscrew and then place it on the base and screw it back up and you are done. I love the sleek modern look as well i didnt think i would like white but i love the color on this fan! The remote is a great addition and the little holder for it on the back of the fan is even better!! I also thought it would be too short but to my surprise it was the perfect height and taller than i anticipated. I am a naturally a hot person and i HATE THE HEAT or being even the slightest too warm. i was recently diagnosed with ms and that only adds to my problem. I was nervous this wouldn't cool my room at night but the cold air it blows is AMAZING, i love the 5 speeds and how you can turn the fan volume down lol. The base is a little wobbly so i took one star off for that, maybe its just mine but my floors are wood so it isn't too much of a problem yet. Overall i this is a great purchase for the price! We bought two based on the reviews and are impressed by the amount of air movement, the ease of controls, and most of all, the quietness of the blower sound. There's also no rattling or other noises coming from the unit. The sound would be nice for a white noise generator if you need gentle noise in the background while trying to fall asleep. Our house is super quiet so it's difficult to fall asleep if the central air system isn't on and blowing air. I may need to get another one or two units. Will give these some time first, and see if we have any issues with either of them before ordering more. Functionality is great Durability seems good Color choices are fine - ours are white Build quality seems quite nice Weight isn't bad considering the size since these are relatively tall so check dimensions before you order. ... show more

This fan is wonderful! It is several inches taller than most, it is whisper quite, has several fan speeds, pushes out so much cool air! I love the white color option as well. It’s a medium-sized fan that goes up to 5 speeds. Very easy to assemble (just the stand part needs to be attached). It goes by the temperature of the room & as the room cools down, the colder it gets. I was expecting a harder blow but it flows cool & quiet. Bought it for work as our AC is on the fritz. it's alexa compatible, strong fan, remote controlable, easy to read display and has a built in thermometer that will adjust the fan speed automatically. Sadly, there's no all black version, you can get all white or black and white, but don't let that be a deal breaker, everything else about the fan is awesome. in these south Texas summers, this thing is going to get a lot of use, even when Mid July hits and the AC is on 24/7. I think it will hold up vvery well. What more can you ask for in a fan except for maybe being super quiet, oh, wait, don't ask, it's already a feature. if I'm not in front of it feeling the breeze, I have to check to see if it's on. it's really that quiet (or I'm that deaf). how's that for total functionality? just grab the remote, hit the power button, set your speed... or pull up your alexa app and do it all from there, or tell alexa to do it all for you. ... show more

I was in the market for another higher level oscillating floor fan and the following outlines why I purchased the Levoit Smart 42 inch Tower Fan. Performance: The air volume, speed and reach is fantastic for this price level. It is not quite as powerful as my Vornado OZI42DC, but this Levoit far exceeds the needs of my living room and it is quieter than the Vornado. Features: Energy efficient is a plus. It also includes a full featured remote control, but I was very pleased that included WIFI and VeSync smart phone app integration. Easy, one app control for my Levoit fan and Levoit air purifier. This fan has 12 speeds and 4 modes of operation providing considerable flexibility. I really like the Auto mode speed option that utilizes room temperature (built in thermostat) to determine variable air flow. In addition this fan has an easily removable back plate for cleaning the unit to ensure long term optimal performance. Design: This fan is a permanent fixture in my living room so appearance is an important aspect to me. The Levoit is visually elegant in comparison to similarly priced offerings. It looks like a high quality fixture in the room. Nothing cheap or industrial looking here. I also appreciate that I can turn on or off the visual display on the front of the unit. Overall: I am extremely happy with this purchase. It checks all the boxes I desired in a high quality oscillating floor fan. Levoit will be my go to brand for any future purchases. ... show more

This is such a cool fan, literally! I purchased it for my living room because my dog tends to stay hot and I love that the vents go all the way to the floor so it keeps him cool.
