The Good: The product itself is great. It has a minimal footprint and modern lines. The app integration is amazing and simple to set up. The mist output is great whether it’s on Low, Medium, or high. The Bad: The achilles heel of the product is the bottom refilling design. Depending on the usage you give it, you will be removing the water tank and turning it over which spills a little bit of water, every 2-3 days. It also doesn’t have a low water level indicator on the app to notify you if you have enough water to last the duration of the schedule you have set. For example: if you use the device while you sleep, it will not notify you if you have enough water to last the night. This product would of been perfect if it had a top fill design, an option to connect it to a larger water container, the ability to adjust the humidity meter up or down to match a calibrated humidity meter. Due to the bottom fill design, it may get returned. This is a non-sponsored review, please like if you found it useful, thanks! 1/8/21 Update: It’s been a few weeks, the worked great without any issues, however its being returned. The bottom fill design was the deal breaker. I exchanged it for the 6L top fill version. If the 4L model were to be top fill, it would of been perfect.     • Excellent extravagance, works exactly as promised. Great App. Works with Alexa.
This model lets you control the exact humidity with the app. You NEED the app to make to work perfectly, but it does have a Manual mode too. The humidifier is NOT extremely quiet (my old one was definitely better) but it doesn't bother me much, and I have extreme sound sensitivity. When it annoys me I just tell Alexa to turn it off even in the middle of the night. So great to be able to control it this way. The humidistat may not be very accurate (runs high), but you can manually set it to whatever you want and you can tell Alexa to adjust the humidity level. The app is easy to program and I set it to turn on at night and off in the AM so I don't forget it. There is even a reminder to change the water weekly. Overall this thing is GREAT for my purpose. I am very happy with it. I got a little three leg plant stand on amazon to put it on so it is off the floor. It doesn't make the floor wet using the stand. The water evaporates before reaching the carpet. ... show more

    • Smart features are not so smart
This is a decent basic humidifier, but priced like a smart humidifier. It runs quite loud. If you plan on using it in a bedroom, don't purchase it unless you find the white noise relaxing. The "smart" features, however, are awful. The biggest flaw is the built-in humidistat, which reports about 15% higher humidity than any device in my household. (I have a couple of air quality monitors and the humidistat in my HVAC thermostat.) I purchased two units: the problem occurs in both. And the reading never moves: it's always between about 55 and 59 percent. So if you set the humidifier at a comfortable level (say, 45%) it will never turn on; and try to "adjust" for the inaccurate reading (say, by setting the target humidity to 60%), it will never turn off. The app is far from intuitive, and the instructions almost nonexistent. If you are familiar with smart home devices, you'll make out fine. But if you're not, or you're giving this to someone who isn't tech savvy, they're going to spend quite a while figuring it out. (For instance, the target humidity setting is hidden behind a scroll window. Embarassingly, it took me a while to find the setting.) I threw away the boxes, so I can't send it back. I'm jury-rigging a solution using some other smart devices and IFTTT. But I could have done that with much cheaper, and much quieter, humidifiers. Give this one a pass. ... show more

    • It does everything and more. I love this unit
This humidifier is amazing! I read the reviews most liked it. My thought was if it doesn’t do the job I’ll just return it. I received it yesterday set it up it works great. In fact when I can afford it I’m ordering another one. I live in a small apartment this unit works great in my living room and my bedroom, yes I tried both rooms. I really like the it has Bluetooth I have the app on my phone installing it was a breeze. I also use Alexa which is a plus. You can also set it to automatically turn on and off when it reaches your desired humidity level. It’s so quite I had to check to make sure it was working. Avoid this product. I really liked this product. Worked flawlessly at first. Then I come home to water leaking everywhere. Pull up the reservoir to find a crack in the base. Water leaked into the Electronics frying it. No worries, just got a lemon. Had amazon send me a new one as a replacement. This happens so no big deal. That's where it all went wrong. Get the second one. Inspect it very thoroughly and all appears to be fine. Put water in it. Set this one up. Here we go with the new one. Go out of town for two days with it set on auto. (Let's be honest, this wifi feature is the reason you're purchasing this one opposed to the less expensive version without it) Come in the house to water all over the place again around where this things at. Instantly I'm mad thinking the base on this one is cracked too. Oh no, that's not the case at all once I pick up the tank. The entire bottom of the reservoir tank is destroyed. Nobody was at the house during those couple of days and it was perfectly fine when I filled it up and put it on the base. ... show more

I bought 3 of the 200s units. Not sure if most reviews cover other units as I believe this is a new product and in my opinion not ready for prime time. Originally only 1 and I’ve found all 3 are not true to advertised functionality and require constant messing with settings. The room humidity sensing is significantly off. Emailed numerous times with support and just went in circles. Offered replacements but with 3 how could I expect anything better? A firmware update could potentially address with a variance of humidity to account for housing and ambient humidity. Anyway better than nothing but would not recommend if you are impatient and just want to set it and forget it. Good point is the app. ... show more
