I’ve been using these holding up my rope lights since January 2024. The string light kit was easy to use, and the installation was intuitive. I would say it was a good value for money. The cable has held up well over the past couple of years. Pros: Complete kit: Includes all 70+ pieces needed for installation (cable, hooks, turnbuckles, clamps, screws, tools) - Weather resistant: Waterproof PVC coating and stainless material prevents rust - Installation: Threaded connections and included tools make setup straightforward - Length: The 100 ft cable can be trimmed to any desired length Cons: - Instructions: If you’re solely relying on instructions, it could be confusing, especially for beginners. Overall, I would definitely buy these again. I’m actually looking forward to buying another set for the other side of the yard.

I've never liked the idea of having the electrical cord also be what supports the weight of a string of lights. So a kit like this it's absolutely necessary for installing lights. It also lets you pull them tight without damaging the lights. This kit was easy to install and worked well. After having the lights in my yard for about a year, a huge tree came down right through the lights. The support cables from this kit were of course ripped down. But the lights were nearly undamaged! One bulb cover dented where it was under the 30" diameter tree trunk. But the wires were completely intact and still work. I'd buy this kit or one like it again for sure.

Did what I wanted it to do - hung strings of patio lights. The cable is the perfect size. Coating is consistent and seems durable. Doesn't slide easily through metal hooks (maybe a little grease/vaseline would help). Turnbuckles aren't high quality, but they work. I'd recommend it.

It was the right size and fit for our patio and had all the tools and pieces in it to make it right for different lengths.the wire was the perfect thickness.

Great kit, Very sturdy hardware. Even includes a measuring tape and screwdriver?? Awesome. Exactly what I needed. Wire is extremely straight and when anchored in a stud you can wrench it so tight that it is laser straight over a 50 foot span or longer, no sag.

Description states twist ties, what I received had zip-ties. Worse, the zip-ties are not UV rated and seem to be UV sensitive. After just 24 hours in the sun, the ties were brittle and broke off as I tightened them from the rough installation the day before. They were flexible the day before. The wire was a little unmanageable without a spool to keep it together. I wasn't so careful spooling out some wire and ended up creating a large knot of wire that I had to untangle. I put it on a spare spool I had and that helped. They other parts all seem fine, just provide your own zip-ties or twist ties.
