This laptop scored under 900 points in Cinebench R23. Another mini-PC with a Celeron N95 that I picked up for under $150 scores about 2650 points. Granted, this laptop includes things like a battery, charger, screen and keyboard compared to the mini PC I tested against, but the CPU really is slower than you might expect. My wife is using it for blogging and printing pictures which it does do well, but don't expect to be running anything that creates or edits photos or videos. This CPU boosted to 2.5GHz for a few seconds, then settled in at 1.7GHz in an all-core load.

Reading the product page for this laptop doesn't really give you a good idea of what this machine is capable of. Why? Because they have specifications in 3 places and they don't fully agree with each other. Are the USB ports version 3.2 or something less? Is there a phone jack (How totally 20th century) or a network jack (RJ45)? Is The processor a Celeron 2.6GHz or is it the Celeron processor N4120 Processor which has a base frequency of 1.1 MHz with a burst frequency of 2.6 MHz? Is the Bluetooth version 4.2 or 5.0? It's all a little confused, but I'm going to try to sort some of these things out. Obvious things from looking over the system: 1 ) There is a RJ45 network jack, not a phone jack. 2) Bluetooth is version 4.2 not 5.0 3) USB ports are version 3.0 (5Mb/sec) not 3.2 (10Mb/sec) 4) The N4120 processor is a middle processor in the Celeron line which is the entry level (lowest level) processor line. It's base speed is 1.1MHz and its burst speed is 2.6. When listing the speed of the processor the convention is to list it by the base speed not the burst speed. I ran a couple of basic test to determine the laptops performance. The results are in photos with this review. First of all the internal hard drive and RAM performance are about what I would expect and are respectable numbers. They're nothing to write home about but they're typical for a SATA SSD and for DDR4 memory in an entry level laptop. i tested the USB ports by attaching an external SSD drive which I have previously benchmarked. The speeds demonstrated by this laptop with this SSD drive are typical for USB 3.0 ports. With USB 3.2 ports the SSD drive's results would have been twice as fast. Overall impressions. This is a reasonable laptop for the price and good for basic normal uses like word processing, spreadsheets and basic office work. This would be good for a youngster as long as there isn't interested in gaming. This is not good for graphics and certainly not good for gaming. The screen resolution is basic entry level quality and is comparable to most machines I've looked at in this price range. The screen is reasonably sharp and bright. This laptop didn't present any major surprises only the confusion on the product page did.

No hand book so I can setup the laptop. No all cords fit into any of the openings. Worthless if I can't get it to work. I put in a complaint to customer service. Got another one and it's the same- worthless.

Sometimes, you don't need a laptop to do EVERYTHING: you just need it to take care of basic functions, and you'd like the price tag to reflect that. This one is a good fit for that expectation. There are no set-up instructions, but let; 's face it: most people skip them, power up, and follow the Windows instructions to set it up. So no big loss there. The power cable is a two-part unit and comes with a plug for both US and European plugs. The memory included is probably the minimum you would use these days for light use (Microsoft Office or Google Docs, etc). You won't want to attempt to process video or do any other processor-intensive tasks. Windows comes with the laptop and goes through the normal installation process. Laptop is very lightweight so I am extra careful not to accidentally hit something with it and crack the screen. I think the average person will find this suitable for their regular functions if not requiring substantial video processing

I needed a laptop for bringing in and out of vehicles to tune ecus with Holleys software and this laptop has been perfect for that. It was great finding a low cost, small screen laptop that had a complete version of windows installed, not a safe mode version. It has enough ram to run all the programs I need and haven't had any issues with processor speed or lagging. If you are in the market for a light use laptop this may be perfect for you. The hard drive is on the small size but if you keep an eye on how many programs are on the laptop it's not an issue. It could always be upgraded if need be. I was a little worried about the processor but it has turned out to handle what I need it to do without a hiccup. I wouldn't want to try to run Solidworks or Autocad on this, but it's great for light programs.

This is an Itel made laptop (not intel -- itel) which is a Chinese phone company that is dipping its toes into computers now. Upon first glance the laptop appears under powered with little usefulness, but this is NOT the case. I've been very surprised with this unit. It's lightweight, built pretty well and is perfect for a young student, child or older person who just needs to be able to surf and do basic word processing. Battery life is stellar and lasts about 6+ hours in my testing. It's great as a streaming based device, used to stream movies and even games if you have a service like Xbox Gamepass, and is easy to customize. i myself have loaded it up with Chrome OS as well as Windows and it's been fantastic. A few things to note though - I'm not thrilled where the power button is located among the rest of the keys. It makes it too easy to accidentally hit the power and lock the machine when you meant to hit delete or home. Also if you ever need to reinstall the drivers they are almost impossible to find. I think you can use the ones listed on itel's global website under the able1 model (even though this is an able 1s model) Recommended!
