I needed a lamp that would be bright when I needed it for knitting or reading, but I also wanted to be able to dim the brightness level when just watching TV. This is the perfect solution. Love that it has different shades of light, think true outdoor light, soft light, and afternoon light. It's so easy to change the brightness by moving a finger up or down on an area of the post. It was also super easy to put together. The only thing I slightly dislike is it's not as easy to adjust the neck of the lamp as I thought it would be. It takes a bit of pressure to get it to move into the position that I want. It may be that way so the neck doesn't wobble and fall down lower than it should. The stand is strong and stable. The controls of both the temperature (color) and brightness quickly become something I wish all my lights had. I very pleased with the construction and what seems to be excellent quality of the components. Though I have only had this floor lamp for a month or so I expect it to serve me for a very long time. If it works well for another couple if months I am considering giving some of them for Christmas. Blessings and I recommend this floor lamp. ... show more

I was not sure about this light cuz it was not as expensive as the craft light that I had. But when that light went out, I needed another one and could not afford the cost of the one I had. This one is nice! I can dim the light for reading, up it for when I need more light for smaller projects. The test will be how long it lasts... ... show more

After re-organizing my home office, I needed a couple floor lamps that supported a light temperature that was the same as the new ceiling LEDs that I had just installed. The build quality of these floor lamps is really really good - the black powder coating is beautiful. The light quality is excellent, and the controls for the lamp to adjust brightness and color temp are roughly 3 1/2 feet high, which sit right above the desktop I have these near.     • Such an amazing cheaper alternative to ring light
I needed some good lighting for my tattoo studio and this is PERFECT. All of the ring lights I was looking at were crazy expensive. This was a fraction of the price and I love it even more. I love being able to adjust the brightness and warmth. The adjustable arm is very easy to move too.

I love this lamp! It was easy to assemble and is exactly as described. The option to change the tone (color) of the light is a wonderful feature and the touch panel for operation is awesome.
