A little stiff out of the package, with that funny kind of Chinese rubbery smell much like a Harbor Freight store. Smell went away. I do like the size of coverage. Reason I bought this was because my similar sized straw hats kept breaking on top. Usually you grab the hat by the top, and after so many times doing that the straw cracks. I am hoping this hat will have a better lifespan and it appears it is washable. I'll probably throw it in the washing machine. Let's hope for the best. The quality of the fabric is what you would expect for the price. I wouldn't praise it for exqusite stitching or fantastic build quality, but it gets the job done.

This hat has a huge rim so you will not get the sunburn on your shoulders. It is a little stiff but I'm sure it will soften up with more use. So far so good.

This product was just what I expected. It came folded so I used a steam iron to take out the minor fold creases and that worked fine. The brim on this hat is wide enough to keep shade on my face to avoid more basal cell sun risks.

I thought it came with a neck flap . Brim is a bit to big . Overall I really do appreciate the quality of the hat , reminds me a little like a sombrero ! I like it a lot , and recommend it to my friends and family !

The wind pushes it around like a sail, but the sun protection is the best and widest out of any hat when the wind isn't blowing. It's also heavier than an average hat as well, and a little more difficult to put on and take off, due to the bulky and cumbersome size.

Ok, this hat is awesome! It says it’s male hat but my head is big (lol) so I thought I’ll give it a try and it fits perfectly. My friends make fun comments about it and say they love it. I feel like a little mushroom when I wear it (but a very special one lol)
