These are inexpensive but look modern and work fine. Unfortunately, one of the chairs has marks on it. Like ink or something. And there's like 7 or 8 of them. Pretty annoying but I don't feel like going through the exchange process do to the weight. If they had better quality control, I'd give 5 stars. Taking off only 1 star seems generous. They look simply fantastic, and given the price, I'd say this is well worth every penny. Rather easy to assemble (except the Rod to bottom section which makes me wonder if adding a sort of tightening component would have made it more sturdy). Hopefully the padding and looks of the seat remain this top quality for a long time. Only tme will tell. But as of right now, I'm extremely happy how it looks and feels ... show more

Very nice looking bar stools & easy to assemble . A little disappointed after reading about how comfortable these are . Way better than previous stools but the back is useless and the seats feel like they're leaning forward. If you are leaning forward onto the bar , they are perfect . Ok , here we are after 3 mos of everyday use (now, I'm 215 lb) & the bases have become very loose , wiggley & sqeeky with no way to tighten anything up . Now I'd say very disappointed for the price ! ... show more
