This is a great high-performing solution for most applications, but be careful. I ordered the version with no wifi (more on that in a second) and 16 GB of memory. No problem upgrading the memory or adding a graphics card from my existing hardware, so that was like found money. Computer and graphics were terrifically fast out of the box, and with these upgrades I can't imagine needing more, even though I do some light video editing for social media. My attempts to install two successive PCIE wireless cards failed, however. They showed in Device Manager and reported as "functioning properly" by Windows, but the Network Settings would not shake hands with them and I ultimately got a USB adapter, which is not my preferred solution; I just don't have time to return what is otherwise a very good computer, and perhaps I will figure out the problem down the line. But this is something to keep an eye on, as is the fact that the cabinet is quite cramped, and adding components is pretty tricky. A couple of other things prevent this from being five stars, though a presumptively defective PCIE slot would be enough. One is that there are no USB-C ports, and the other is that only two of the six USB-A ports are USB 3; as far as I can tell, moreover, there is no way to know which are the ones by color or otherwise, and you have to look at the documentation. Also, while it's not surprising that a computer with six cores running this fast has a noisy fan, take note: This computer has a noisy fan. SO: It's fast, it's not expensive, it's amenable to most of the upgrades you would want and need. Four stars seems about right.

I ordered this desktop thinking it was a new computer. When I tried to register it with Lenovo, it said the warranty had expired in 2022. This is obviously a refurbished computer. It seems to work fine, but consumers should be made aware that this is not a new product, and there is no warranty. Since my initial review, I contacted the seller, and was informed that they do provide a 1 year warranty. Very satisfied with the performance of this product.

Outdated, out of warranty, no tech access because it was rejected by both divisions as fitting in neither. Spent an entire day being tossed back and forth between the two divisions only to end up in sales and learn the machine is NOT compatible or serviceable by either and is out of warranty. STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND.

This has been an adventure. PC came but keyboard and mouse were wired. Not only that, it was a UK keyboard and some of their symbols are different than in the US. Lenovo gave me a refund on the keyboard. My old Logitech keyboard & mouse would not sync with the Lenovo, nor would 3other older "mice" (with USB) Bought the Logitech K270 keyboard with its USB, but my "mice" still wouldn't sync. I ended up buying a Logitech MK235 "package" keyboard, companion mouse & usb. Finally, it all synked. I was thinking that Lenovo had pulled a fast one, and created a product that would only be compatible with other Lenovo products. I was ready to purchase the Lenovo keyboard/mouse (more expensive) if the MK235 didn't work. Not totally thrilled with the MK235, but I am exhausted by all the back & forth. With that said, the reason why I went with the Lenovo is that it is the only reasonably priced PC that has an integrated SD card reader and a DVD player. Anything less was a deal breaker for me. I am "old school" and I use the SD card with a camera, and I (wait for it)............... still play my old music CD's and watch DVD movies. The PC runs quietly, has enough ports for my use, is small enough to fit in my computer cabinet. The price for me (as a senior) and for my needs, was perfect.

The likes; fast boot, SSD drive, good features. Lots of bang for the buck. The dislikes; no Lenovo support. It was apparently sold overseas (UAE) and the warranty began. By time it hits my door more than 12 months later, the warranty ran out with Lenovo. I contacted Amazon and the seller about those facts, and received a response that the seller was backing it for 1 year. Ok, but that still doesn’t make up for the fact this was opened elsewhere, retuned and resold. I noticed when I unboxed it, there was a seal on the plastic bag around the computer that was to show if it had been opened. It was ripped apart, but I told myself it might have happened in transit. So more evidence of not being new. Under the circumstances, I’m inclined to suspect everything, so I started checking the specs against the hardware that was delivered. So far it checks out. I intend to follow up with Amazon to get there take on this. This should be tagged in the description as refurb or open box, and explicitly say that it under the sellers warranty and what that covers. I plan to give this a couple days to settle in before making a final decision on whether or not I will keep it. As for hardware itself, it runs fine SO FAR. The way it was sold without adequate disclosure of the condition and warranty terms is what gets me. I plan to update this post upon resolution of these issues.
