Lenovo has great machines, and this is no exception. However, if you want HiFi sound from a laptop you might need external speakers with this one. This machine has 16 logical CPUs and 64GB of RAM, lots of power to edit video and run resource intensive software.

I am from Costa Rica, I ordered it and the first time I turned it on the screen didn’t show anything, just after 20 minutes the boot was shown in the screen but with lines of different colors, meaning that the screen was faulty and didn’t work. There were A LOT of those lines of colors, almost half of the screen. I don’t understand how they sent this computers and there were over 300 orders from this specific option without any complain. I am in the process of returning the computer and having a refund (in theory Amazon will sent me the money 1-2 days after the computer is refunded). Be careful people from Latin America if you try to buy this computer. Maybe is just back luck, but I really wanted this computer and I need one ASAP. ... show more

It kills me... this laptop was supposed to be for "work" IT IS PERFECT for EVERYTHING. I added a 2nd 2T SSD drive and made it a stand alone monster. I hate that it makes work so much more FUN and EASY. Load times on Photoshop and Illustrator, etc... next to nothing compared to old i7 Inter processor. After other family members were enjoying the benefits of Lenovo Ideapad laptops, I decided to take the plunge and replace my 2008 Toshiba with this one. The improvements are obviously huge but this is a great machine. Screen quality is great, battery life is impressive and the feel and click/rebound of the keyboard are a huge improvement for me. The only complaint I have is that the NumLock key is right next to the backspace and with my big hands, I keep hitting the numlock when I try to backspace. I am sure there is a way to lock that key, I just haven’t researched it yet. Overall, great purchase and if you are doubting AMD speed and quality, don’t- it’s lightning fast! ... show more
