After I ordered this, I read the reviews. I attempted to cancel, but it was already in route. This is the best computer I own. It was simply a matter of plugging it in and playing it. It took about a half hour to update Windows, but that is totally normal. I bought this to stream Britbox, Acorn, Hulu, and Prime. I had cancelled all cable and satellite services in 2012. The 16 GB ram makes all the difference. All my 8 GB computers are obsolete. I am so glad I made this purchase. From now on I plan to ignore all negative reviews. Item description said Intel I5-4670T processor but mine came with I5-4570T. Not a huge difference but what i got is not quite as good as what was advertised. Otherwise I am pleased with the computer and everything is working well and am pleased with the price. The keyboard and mouse that came with are nothing special but are serviceable. I don't play computer games, use drafting or rendering software, and I mainly use my computer to surf the web, load and play music, and some typical office work. This computer had everything I needed. I paired this up with an external CD/DVD drive and an external hard drive, and now it covers every need I would ever have for it. Bought this mini pc for work. I was initially skeptical of purchasing something refurbished but this product was backed by Amazon's Renewed Guarantee. The item looked to be in great condition only to be plugged in and........nothing. The product was dead on arrival. Contacted the Amazon product support number only to be transferred to Lenovo who told me they were unsure as to why Amazon support directed me to them because the manufacturer's warranty had expired years ago. Went back to Amazon's website and just requested a replacement item. I will make an update to this review after receiving the new mini pc. ... show more

    • Works as designed and intended
The Lenovo M93 works as designed and as intended especially as a Windows machine. If I have a "However" or "but" Dietpi (a linux distribution originally compiled for raspberry pi-s) is convinced that the processor is ready to melt through the motherboard. The only way I can make the OS happy is to manually throttle the processor in settings to a range of 25 to 50 and running the machine with the case off and a fan blowing over the processor. As with some renewed items, you fear that you will be getting sub par items, not with this company. I was very impressed with the quality and the cleanliness of the item. There was some confusion about activating the Windows license, but that was only because I did not take the time to read the product activation sticker.     • Lower powered PC for Linux server
Got the system in a reasonable amount of time and was able to install Ubuntu on it to run a server now I have it hosting an 8TB USB drive as a NAS, a MySQL server, Apache web server, Plex media server and the biggest memory hog or all a modded out minecraft server. even with all that running I'm only using 20% of the available ram during non peak usage. I can't speak to how it would run windows 10 as I formatted the drive as soon as I got it and haven't looked back. The Wifi dongle I got was Linux compatible but I have a feeling that was more by luck than design as far as fit and finish of the item no complaints there were a few minor scratches on the surface but I didn;t buy the thing to look at it. ... show more
