  • Small but effective
I got this as a backup for my old desktop which may fail at any time (10yrs old). It takes up about 10 sq inches on my desk and is very fast and crazy how many features it has. I don't usually buy refurbs but hey this is awesome.

  • Works Perfectly
Ordered from Amazon, not one of the alternates. Got the M900, exactly as described in text and images. Looks like new both outside and inside. No scratches, no dust. My application is that it sits and runs videos or slide shows. No hesitation during videos. I was a bit reluctant about the 256GB SDD but, after my setup, there is only about 52GB used. I have all videos and stills either on the web or on an external USB drive, but there's plenty storage onboard for that. The WiFi dongle connects to my mesh node about 10-15 feet away but connectivity is pretty awful. During setup I had some downloads just never finish. I ran a Cat5 from the mesh node to the box and got everything running. I've ordered a WiFi dongle with an antenna. ... show more

  • Device doesn't work
It took me awhile to finally get around to setting up my home server with the NUC and the first time I had the device booted, it gave me the blue screen of death. I went through the diagnostic tool and every time I try to use it, it just freezes. $100 brick.

  • Good deal
5 stars because I'm easy to please... its a tiny FF dektop that works fine. No issues thus far. I know its a refurb unit and its probably close to 10 yrs old but, their quality control could be a little better. The fan was full of dust and the SSD had 3 dents in the case, and some restock scribble on it. Even still, it booted up and ran fine. For $130 bucks I wont complain too much. The listing says its an M900 however when I opened it up it is actually an M910 model. Other than some minor style differences in the layout of its guts, thats not a big deal. The wifi is a cheap dongle that was included, not internal. The USB ports are not blue, but the system checker says they are 3.0 super speed. The back of the unit is not the same as the pics on the listing. There is no rear mic jack and there is an added VGA port. Again, probably just due to it being an M910 and not a n M900. Minor differences. The keyboard and mouse are your typical cheapo items that work perfectly fine. I replaced the included SSD with a new kingston SSD and loaded linux mint on it, which runs very well on this unit. Don't hesitate to buy one, you get more than ya pay for. ... show more

  • A better bet than a no-name mini PC (but don't buy it for the WiFi!!!)
According to Lenovo's website, the machine I received dates from October 2016. However it looks and runs like new. Inside there was a little dust on the fan blades - I would say about a month's worth, so I don't know what this PC was doing for the other 6 years of its life, but not much, that's for sure. Came with a perfectly running image of Win 10 Pro. Kind of unreal to see Windows running fast and smooth actually :-D The only thing missing (apart from original packaging) was the little kickstand thingy that helps it to stand upright. I took off half a star because the 'Amazon Renewed' category is so vague. It wasn't clear to me if I'd be getting a customer return, distributor surplus or inventory out of a corporate environment. The machine is older than I expected but condition wise it is fine. I just think Amazon could and should be clearer about what exactly I would be getting. And I took off another half because this machine does _NOT_ have WiFi. Not a deal breaker for me but it might be for someone else. PS If I could have gotten the PC only (no kb or mouse) I would have done that. The supplied kb is a wacky gaming one that has a built in light show. I'll probably just give that away. UPDATE: I looked at the SMART data for the SSD and found that it had 6,100 hrs of up-time over 370 power cycles, with 14TB written to the drive and 120 unsafe shutdowns. That all sounds like a lot to me, although it reports as healthy. ... show more

  • These little refurb mini-PCs are firecrackers
I am still waiting on the replacement SSD before I upgrade from Windows to Ubuntu, but under Windows 10 it's a snappy little box. The Displayport video dropped out a couple of times when I bumped the box but this shouldn't be an issue once it's racked as a server. This would still make for a fine desktop box for casual or business use. A little annoyed at Microsoft for blocking ICMP ECHO in the firewall, which made a network problem unnecessarily hard to debug, but that's not the hardware's fault. Edit: Ubuntu 22.04 runs fine apart from some annoying behavior with the lock screen that's Canonical's fault... I have an HP mini-PC with the same problem. ... show more

  • good computer, lame advertising
works well. Doesn't include WiFi/Bluetooth in the box, rather they ship it with a dongle that semi-permanently takes up a USB port. which is dumb because there is a slot to add in a real laptop WiFi card that isn't being utilized.
