Bought this wall plate at the same time as I bought my Nest. I didn't realize that the Nest would come with an ugly white, rectangle wall plate, so I'm super glad that I bought this and had it ready. Upgrade over the standard white, but I'd recommend to get the actual metal one if you are aiming for polished, and metal feel. That's what I'll do. I'd return this one but I tossed away the box.

A big step up from the white rectangular plate. Quality looks good. If you are concerned about putting it back together, take a picture of how the wires are connected to the nest before unhooking the wires. And be sure the wires do NOT touch during the process.
