I cut the cable and got rid of my television to save money. I got the tablet to use as my TV. It is a great device and a reasonable price that was equal to two months cable.

2 8 year old samsung tablets expired within a week of each other. there were no equivalent samsung tablets I could find. took a flyer on lenovo and am pleasantly surprised. they are being used as multifunction displays and for this they do the job much better than any fire crap. so if you want real android and a clear decently sized screen this is a good choice. note: when you go to register them lenovo says they are refurbs and out of date. the 2 I bought were brand new in the box. so buyer beware ... show more

    • Good budget tablet, but bad battery lifespan
Bought one of these straight from lenovo on sale for $189, 6 months ago. It got some heavy usage on some days as I used it for school. I upgraded 2 months ago and gave it to the gf. She uses it maybe 3-4ish hrs most days for background noise. In 6 months of owning it, it's lost 11% of battery health. My phone, which is the same age at the tablet, has lost 5% battery health. I emulate ps2 games on my phone with high graphics, which drains the battery quickly and heats up the phone. Still, it has lost less health. Maybe the battery used in the P11 is more on the cheap side? Just expect it to give you one good year of usage and maybe a year or two more of subpar battery life. Unless you use it strictly as a smart remote, then should last forever. Great tablet to buy on sale, decent resolution, powerful enough processor for light work, easily 8 hrs of video streaming.
