The tablet turned on and the screen was good, but when I tried to put on the case I bought for the Tab 4 8 that I thought I ordered, the volume rocker was covered. The specs app when I opened the tablet only said 1GB ram (instead of the advertised 2GB) and despite having a Dolby app pre-loaded, there was only 1 speaker, not the dual speakers I was expecting. Looked up the product number from the back of the device. Turns out this is a Tab E8 which is an inferior model that normally retails for $90 new with half the battery life of the Tab 4 8. A refurbished Tab 4 8 was a great deal at the price I paid for this. A refurbished E8 at a price that was barely below the price of a new one? No way. This isn't the model advertised. You're getting overcharged for an underpowered tablet. Don't do it.

From ELECTRONIC DEALS. Product was as advertised. Some of the specs in descriptions above are a little confused, but the highest ones listed match. Check Lenovo's site for specs. (1.4 GHZ quadcore, 2 GB ram, 16 GB flash storage, expandable by sdcard, 1280x800 display) Clean and unblemished, if not for the REFURBISHED sticker, you wouldn't know. Display resolution isn't as high as other models, but good enough for video and reading pdfs. Note that the wifi only supports 2.4ghz, so had some problem connecting to my phone's hotspot at first. Only at android 7.1 and lots of apps list "Not optimized for your device", but I haven't found any problems with them.

I rated this unit a 4 star because this unit is not the same model as the one selling for $129.00 on Amazon. The description says this refurbished tablet is the same as the other one on Amazon for 129.00 which it is not. If you really were looking for a tablet with 2gb ram don't buy this refurbished tablet I gave the seller a higher rating for the great fast free shipping, it was packaged nicely ia a bubble wrap type packaging as screen film on the screen so it would not get scratched very impressed in a nice not a original packaging with charging cable. The charging cable that came with this unit is very short and hard to use if you don't have a plug on a counter to plug it in. I ordered myself a 3ft charging cable to make it easier to charge it anywhere when needed. Love tablet the performance with the battery is great and outstanding. I used it for 3 hours and it only used 1% battery. The performance with this table the battery cannot be beat that is why I chose the Lenovo tab 4 8 over Samsung. The Tab 4 8 inch I love the size for portability and I see it not hard to read at all not having the 10 inch tablet. One thing that I love about this the most is that it comes with basic google apps and not loaded with Apps that just run in the background that you will never use and take up memory. You can customize your tablet with the most and likeable apps that you want from google play store and there are many apps if you search Lenovo Apps. Like for instance if you have lost interest in Facebook the App does not come with Facebook Application and taking up memory that you don't want or need. Many tabs you buy now everyone has facebook on the tablet and cannot remove because it is part of the loaded software in the Tablet. Not with Lenovo. I talked to support and make sure you purchase a fast micro EXFAT SD card and format it to FAT32. Must be formatted with your Table or Desktop PC before putting the micro SD card in the expansion slot on the tablet. He said the tablet will not detect the micro sd card if inserted and could cause corrupted card. So make sure you format it before putting in your tablet. If you have any questions about your tablet I highly go to Lenovo.com or their Facebook back and contact them through chat they are very helpful and willing to help. I have attached the chart support sent me in regarding the types of SD cards and look across the chart for the one that is EXFAT format and what style and does give you the performance you want. This is a good chart in regarding you making the right purchase finding the right card for this tablet to give your the extra speed and memory performance you want with this tablet. He says the card slot on this tablet only supports FAT32 and It is the SD card type that matters as each type has different bus speed. Here are the steps that support gave me how to format a EXFAT micro SD card to FAT32. 1. Use and SD Card Reader and connect it to your laptop/ desktop computer. 2. Open file explorer on you laptop, and click on you SD Card name. 3. Click on Manage option on top and click on Format 4.Select FAT32 under file system, and check the box for Quick Format under Format options. 5. Click start and you are then ready to put your sd card in the expansion slot left side top of your table with a blue looking cover that lifts and slides out of the way. This tablet does not come with any user manual you will have to find it online and download it or contact lenovo support to send you one for your model. Very user friendly navigation of this tablet. I really feel I will use this tablet more than I ever did with a 10 inch Samsung Android tablet. The only with this sellers he needs to lower the price being 1 gb memory and change is description and tell the buyers what they really are getting refurbished. I kept my refurbished tablet their is nothing wrong with it , the description for on Amazon is way off saying this has 2gb ram and it is not the same exact model as the $129.00 listed on amazon. If you are not looking for a fast gb ram for a tablet and want to surf the internet, play a few low graphic games, read downloaded books, You tube, watch downloaded movies, online TV, has great speaker I thought for this little simple function tablet is for you and getting a high speed sd card and formatted correctly you still love this refurbished tablet. I kept mine because I will not be loading memory hogging apps on it. I use it alot for the bluetooth function connecting my music to my TV sound bar so I can listen to my google music through the sound bar. It connected to the sound bar very easily and nicely a great plus having blue tooth connectivity. This tablet will only connect to your home wireless network or any place that has free wifi if you select the Wifi model only. If you want to connect anywhere like your phone when you are in the car you need the model that is Wifi+ LTE for data package to allow you to connect to wifi service away for a server connection. I have the Wifi only one because I have my phone with data plan to connect to internet and Facebook, read online books, articles and use as a portable min computer so I don't have to take my heavy laptop computer with me when traveling. The Tab 4 8 inch is great for fitting in my purse traveling by plane. You have to figure out what you really are going to use this tablet for to make your decision to buy this 1gb ram refurbished model that has wifi only for the lowest price. This seller ships fast and the package it well for shipping and nothing wrong with the table looks like new! I found there is a bluetooth keyboard case for this tablet and it works great if you are not a touch screen person all the time and a bluetooth mouse as well. Hope my review will help others make the decision to buy the wifi only refurbished tab 4 8 inch? The battery feature cannot be beat with Lenovo tablet. I had a samsung were were constantly plugging it in recharging and could only go for about 2 hrs. max surfing the internet.

I lost my old 7" Samsung tablet and had to replace it. I read about how many manufacturers mess with the Android system and are bad about bloat-ware. I queried for tablets with "pure" Android and the Lenovo came up as one of the best. It is gorgeous and fast. The battery has been lasting about 12 hours, on all day. It does not have a gyroscope/motion sensor like is needed for Google Sky, but neither did my old one. It is outstanding for the money.

Great tablet for the price. Kids love it, I love the front facing speakers, battery life is amazing. Only real complaint is charging time. Takes a long time to charge but I'm more than happy to wait if it means hours of my kids entertained on long trips
