Everything I wanted and more! Plays A+ titles with no problem. For the money spent on it it’s more than worth the value. It fits perfect in your lap so you aren’t secluded to the desk. If you lower it from ultra setting there is virtually no lag which is incredible. The graphic quality on games like Arc Raiders is amazing and it runs great while playing. I was going to wait on the ROG Xbox Ally, but when I saw this and since i have enjoyed lenovo laptop's i thought to myself l, why not get one for me and my wife. I was not disappointed I saw a lot of reviews of how windows doesn't run games well ir anything like that but this was when the handheld was released, I have this for three weeks and I love that I can play Recent Triple A games onf High to Medium on performance mode and also play indie games on efficiency mode. My wife plays lots of Sims and Inzoi so she wanted to play it Docked most of the time and she is also enjoying it. I also play lots of gamepass and remote play via the xbox and never had an issue with it Emulators? Get the Emu Deck which is so worth getting. I honestly recommend it if you just want to play games on the go and on gamepass. If not, you can also install Steam OS and it will run even better. Only area that needs improving is the battery life. ... show more

I do love this thing so much, if you are looking for something with a lot of flexibility, having a windows operating system works great. Epic Games, Electronic Arts Games, Steam Games, Microsoft Games, XBOX Games, you name it. The battery life is terrible but being someone that doesn't need to travel with it, I keep it next to an outlet. Occasionally there are glitches and it needs a restart but I think that's just Lenovo or Windows as I've experienced that with Laptops. It's a powerhouse regardless, it doesn't overheat with games which was something I heavily researched and wanted a device specifically that had a well-rounded ability to regulate its own temperature. What I love is the ability to hook it up to an HDMI cord and attach to my TV. It has great customizability with the buttons depending on what game you are playing, you can map the buttons to your liking. I would say purchase this at a discount when it is on sale, it is the best bang for your buck. ... show more

I'm going to start by saying I do NOT run windows on this. Steam OS is installed. With that being said that's how I'm reviewing it. For me this is leaps and bounds better than the ROG Ally. The 8' screen is wonderful, the ergonomics are perfect. I can game on this for hours without feeling cramped or tired ect ect. In all honesty this is a bit better than the steam deck. not a ton better, but enough that it is worth it to consider instead of the deck. Games run marginally better than on a deck as well. So my rule of thumb is, if the deck runs something at 60 fps, this will do 70+, 30 fps, this will do 40+ ect ect. battery life is hit and miss depending on what you're playing. The wife loves to play sonic and can literally go 6+ hours without a charge. Some titles its less than 2 hours. For all those wondering is the LED's work on steam OS, they pushed an update out that made them work. There are tons of reviews of these things all over. They are 100% worth it if youre going for Steam OS. if not.... the Z1 extreme is what youre looking for. ... show more

this thing is a prime example of what happens when you let engineers toss something together with zero thought. It is under powered for the task, wrongly equipped for the task Operating system wise (windows 11) and microsofts insistence at auto updates. Lenovo does a good job at setting it up to do the job (handheld gaming device0 however the second it sees a internet connect, microsoft insists it completely undoes the os thats on it, and replaces it with a bricked 1 (lousy touch support) more times then not the onscreen keyboard refuses to show and won't let you login to it, making the device useless ... show more

I bought this item as used acceptable condition. When I received the item it looked almost brand new with the papers and everything that came from the factory included The charger still had the plastics on it. It looks like somebody open this package maybe decided that they didn't want it and sent it right back. As far as this particular variation of this device I plan on using SteamOS. I had another one with the same RAM and processor and with steam OS it was amazing. I have a laptop for playing my AAA titles at higher resolution and higher frame rate so this is mainly for my backlog and indie games but it will play AAA games at a playable frame rate if you need to play them on the go. The best comparison I have for this would be that it's like a beefed up steamed deck with a better screen. ... show more

If I could give this product, a true score would be 4.5. The reason I love everything about it. It works it charges. Wonderful battery life wonderful graphics. The only two issue that I have with it are that the joystick if you do not have a case for it will fall off in your book bag and if I’m playing a game that does not require the touchscreen and I’m using the joystick to move. I will accidentally touch the screen and move the camera during gameplay. If there was a setting to turn that off, this would literally be a five out of five but otherwise still a great product. ... show more

After some tinkering I ended up replacing windows 11 with steamOS and boy did it make a huge difference. Not only does Arc Raiders run at a constant 70+fps on medium settings, but games like FF7 Remake stay locked at 120fps on high settings even in graphic intensive areas. If you’re good at tweaking performance settings you can definitely get some good performance out of the z2 chip. The battery life is decent but I play mostly plugged in so can’t say for playing off charge. I’ve had it for a few months and the build quality hasn’t failed me yet nothing is broken. My only very small niche complaints are usb-c placement and the thumbsticks are way too small for me but thumb grips have helped. ... show more
