    • 1st 8 months OK - french keyboard touchscreen stopped working, and cant use warranty! NO GOOD
For the first 8 months the laptop was great but honestly it was very frustrating because the keyboard is NOT in the standard US format, mine has non-US simples - my escape key says 'Echapp' - its a french keyboard!!!! I still have difficulty as all my other laptops, work included, are US format so now every time i switch I make mistakes like 80% of the time typing!! even after 8 months because im still using US in all other laptops. There was NO indication the keyboard would come this way. The pictures even show the US standard of the keyboard!!!! AND to make things worse, after 8 months my touch screen just stopped working for no apparent reason I tried everything - reset my OS, reinstalled the touchscreen driver, etc. Nothing. works! and that was my favorite feature and the whole reason I bought it for its touchscreen/notepad type usage. So I go to check my warranty and I cant even extend or purchase my warranty ! WHY you may ask? because its 'shipped to' origin is Canada so as a US citizen with a US billing code I was forced onto the canada website to pay and I cant pay because I dont have a Canadian billing address!!! Just opened and started setup. Appears all in working order; however, there was no indication the keyboard wasn’t standard US. Might be Canadian or European? Typing on it is going to be a little frustrating due to this.
