My son has had this wetsuit for a year now and I am happy how it has held up. It is snug and meant to be that way. My son is very skinny and doesn’t have a lot of fat to keep him warm. This also prevents him from being able to float. It has kept him warmer for outdoor and indoor lessons than he would have been in a regular suit.     • Comparison of 2 brands (Hevto and Lemorecn)
I have purchased two different brands of wetsuits (Hevto and Lemorecn). Differences were as follows: 1) Lemorecn had longer arms and legs. Since my son is tall but skinny, this was a better overall fits. 2) There are zippers at the bottom of the legs for Lemorecn but only for this particular style where there is a large gray patch in the front (I also purchased another Lemorecn suit that is black and light blue but it did not have the zippers at the bottom). This made wearing it and taking it off easier. 3) The ends of the sleeves and pants for Lemorecn had a tailored finish. The Hevto ones seemed like they just cut the material and that's it. 4) The Lemorecn suits had reinforced knee area. Thus far, am happy with this purchase as it fits my son better. ... show more

I purchased three different sizes of Lemorecn wet suit shorties for my grandchildren to use at the NH seacoast beaches we frequent all summer. My thanks to all who commented on the sizes they purchased for their children, because following these reviewers’ recommendations, to my surprise each one fit the intended child perfectly. I can’t be sure if they are the same material as an adult’s much more expensive wetsuit is, but they certainly are keeping the children warm and the material is thick without being uncomfortably so. One of the wetsuits developed a small tear in the first wearing, and the company sent a replacement without question within two days. With their reasonable price, the suits are well worth the price I paid and are a good quality so far. I recommend the product and the seller highly. ... show more

    • Great looking style and fabric
After reading a lot of amazon reviews and also measurement charts, I finally decided on this suit to replace another wetsuit brand that my child had grown out of (and they only make up to age 4). We use it exclusively for swimming in a very cold public pool. Based on the reviews I ordered a size 8 (child is a tall - 90th percentile - 6.5 years). Arrived today and we both LOVE the suit in terms of feel and look. Fabric is thicker than our previous wetsuit and the zip line has a very long pull which my kid loved. The size 8 is too big though in terms of width. Length is perfect for my tall kid but I can tell that the arms and legs will let water in as it is meant for an older kid. It would easily fit a well-built 8 year old kid. We are returning and I already ordered the size 6, which I hope will fit in length and also be nice and snug around legs/arms so that it can work in the water. Nice product though for the price and I'm excited to get results once we are in the pool with it, it seems like it would be warm. ... show more

My kid is 22 months old, 36” height and I ordered size 4. The size is way too small, and the collar opening can only fit a gooseneck. My kid cries “hurts” when I try to pull up the zipper. Had to return it.
