It comers with a serrated blade, allowing you to make precise cuts for any fibrous meats and cheeses. This slicer can slice as thin as 0” or as thick as 0.8” and any thickness in-between, making it perfect for ultra- thin slices or thicker cuts of beef, chicken breast, dried salami, jerky slices, or even cheese. The stainless steel blade turns at 90 RPM and the suggested run time is 5 minutes. And when it comes time to clean up, the slicer comes with a removable food tray, making it simple to wipe down and store away until your next use. Please note that a cut-resistant glove should be worn when removing, cleaning, or handling the slicer blade.

This is a nice, basic, beginner slicer. It works well at slicing smaller cuts of meat. It slices it well and relatively quickly. It's not the most powerful one I've used, but it is great for a home kitchen. It's very sharp and fairly easy to clean if you don't mind getting it all apart. It is easy to get back together. For the price you can't expect a commercial slicer.. You have to have realistic expectations. I wouldn't try to slice 20 pounds of deli meat, it, this slicer isn't made for that. If you expect to slice a 3 or 4 pound roast for sandwiches or a dinner this is your slicer. A big factor in purchase decision is its LEM product. I'm a big LEM fan because LEM has good quality and lem stands behind products with great customer service and support. It's also easy to get parts if needed directly from LEM. Very nice slicer. Heavy duty, and it easily slices up three pounds of pastrami made from brisket at home. It produced nice thick slices, or deli thin slices depending on what we chose at the time. Did not get slowed down by the coating of pepper, and was easy to clean without taking off any fingers. In one day we sliced bacon and Pastrami and it held up to about 30 minutes of continuous slicing with no issue. ... show more
