    • Waste of Money! Get the T1 base model.
Color: C1: T1-PRO 24MPH 14" Foldable Electric B...
I purchased this Pro model after owning and liking the T1 base model. It lists as being able to go faster, and is pictured as having wider tires (which admittedly may be angle/stretch distortion,) and a different frame and brakes than the base model. The bike I recieved has precisely the same parts as the base model aside from the body tube on the front half of the frame being a slightly different shape (not even the shape in the picture.) The brakes are the same, the rear half of the frame, the same. Seat, handlebars, display, battery, wheels and tires, suspension/shock absorbers: ALL THE SAME! The ONLY difference I have found in this bike is that the front half of the frame is aesthetically slightly different. The worst part is that the battery, motor, and controller are the exact same things. The controller is what receives the electrical signals and sends them to the motors and sensors for the lights and whatnot. It has a 13amp output limit, and, upon further testing, both the base model and the Pro model are only able to reach speeds of 15.5 mph on flat paved ground, which is 25km/h. These listings are lies. Also, while the motor can maybe handle a 1200w burst, it certainly will never receive it on these bikes. The 13amp controller paired with the 48volt system, your power would be around 624 watts. You'd never see nearly the amoutn of power the motor could handle without spending another hundred bucks and some know-how on a new and more powerful controller. My specific product gripes, also. The rear fender came either installed wrong or cut wrong as the little lip on the end is pointed very sharply left. The key for the bike does not lock or unlock the battery, as it does on my base T1 model. Again, the tires are NOT wider as advertised and the brakes disks are not the same as advertised. Probably most importantly, the rear light does NOT work on the right side of it. I paid the extra money for the Pro model, only to get a defective and therefore effectively worse version of the cheaper base model. Bad value for money. I've lost my trust in this bike's potential for durability, comfort, and ease of use, as I'll have to replace not only the rear light for my own safety, but also the controller module just to have the bike I've already paid too much for. If you're going to buy from this company, just buy the moped style for much more money, or buy the base T1 model. UPDATE: Upon further testing, my Pro model goes EVEN SLOWER than the base model my wife rides!!! Idk if they sent me a shoddy version or if I've received the king of defects, but I am VERY unhappy. ... show more
